Nilou is a better fit for my Nahida and Baizhu, whom I use a lot. However, I want Navia so bad! I used my guarantees on characters 1 and 2 for Baizhu and Clorinde, so idk... either way, I'd have to get lucky to get Navia or Nilou 😩
I'll go for Navia too I lost to yelan, but it's her fault that I already have C6 Xingqiu, Furina, and even Childe (i like his gameplay) so I don't need her. Also I have no Geo Main dps and I don't want to build Noelle because her team really requires to build mono geo which I don't like the playstyle.
As Yelan and Navia haver here are some things that I would highlight about them: Yelan skill is insane for nearly all movement and she hasn't left my overworld party ever. The burst having aimbot level tracking(it hits pyro agents when they are invisible!) is also nice and combined with her ranged normals she can clear spread out enemies by just spamming normals. And if some are out of range the skill takes you there fast! She also pairs well with her competitors in Xingqiu and Furina and even when you use two out of the tree in one side of the abyss you still have one of them for the other side. There are many teams where Yelan is not the best option but a few where she isn't an option at all. For Navia I was surprised that Xianyun was not mentioned. Plunge Navia is great and one of the more synergistic characters for Xianyun even without Furina. You can also double up on healers with Bennet and plunging has infinite interruption res, which makes the plunge teams really comfy to play. The E into 4 plunges with the infusion can be hard to execute but it's still good if you miss that and do a phys plunge. Double geo stuff stuff with Chiori or Zhongli is where she is best at, but if you don't have them solo geo is still more than viable. Geo MC is an option, but at that point what is better comes down to the abyss lineup and what characters you have available and feel good playing with. Skill based nuke damage is also good for finishing abyss chambers with full energy and in overworld you oneshot a lot of enemies. Also the voice-lines are funny. "Umbrella warfare I guess!" Both Yelan and Navia are units that function well without specific units, and geo and hydro could be hard elements to get a good roster of characters, so I expect them to do really well in the Imaginarium theater when those cycles become around.

@@pumpkin_head1011 The coordinated attacks from Yelan's burst procs when your main DPS performs NORMAL ATTACKS, so in your case the best pairs for Yelan are Arlecchino and Al'Haitham. Neuvillette's main source of damage comes from CHARGED attack, so Yelan's coordinated attack will not proc. And Gaming's is PLUNGED attack (even if he execcutes normal attacks in between plunged ones), so you will underutilize Yelan's kit because there will be less procs.
I actually wouldn’t recommend using Dendro Main Character with Emilie because their burst doesn’t play well with Pyro. When DMC’s Burst Bulb comes into contact with Pyro it will explode and disappear, ending the burst early. Just use Collei instead.
@@kaeyls Yelans C1 causes her dash to go on cooldown as soon as you start using it. If you use both charges to their full duration, its off cooldown about 2 seconds later and you can use a third dash. This is amazing for overworld exploration. If you have any of Xianyun, Wanderer, Sayu, or any other movement characters then combined they will have 100% dash uptime. Since I got her C1, I almost never take Yelan out of my party in any content.
That's why I only prefarm when I have enough wishes for GUARENTEED Always expect the worst outcome and have 160 wishes ready. Otherwise you'll get disappointed.

I think it's ok to get yelen even if you have Xingqiu and furina because in the new game mode you need 18 characters combined of 3 elements hence you need 6 well built characters of each element to 100% the new game mode every month So even if you have Xingqiu ,furina and Yelen you still lack 3 more hydro units . ( Now you understand why people hate the new game mode 🥲)

You even don't need to use all of them in Theater, but game is giving random chars, which sucks. So for be able to start hard mode, you would need about 4 chars for each element, but when you have among them char which is in trial, bum, you can't use it for counting (I have Kuki now, have feeling that Furina will suffer from similar issue too). But anyway, I would definitely appreciate some improvements of this game mode too. It's kinda too restrictive and limitating in current state.
Navia main here: If anyone decided to pull navia. Here my experience. She was reason that I cleared 11 floor for first time and cleared 12 floor too. I skipped neuv and furina for her and she showed me how worth she is .
Yup, as I thought, your video helped. I got Navia's weapon when I was going for Ayaka's so I was debating wether to get her or Yelan. So, I will be getting Yelan as she is going to help a lot of my teams like Furina mono hydro and Yoimiya hypercarry. Thanks a lot for the video Shark!
i really like Navia. Her story her character and shes pretty but i cant justify trying to get her as i am fully F2P and i just feel like yelan will be better for my account.
IMHO Yelan is the TOP1 character to pull for a new account. She'll be usefull from the moment you get her until the eternity. And she HUGELY improves the exploration in the game. I use her literally everyday. It's hard to emphasize enough how great she is even if you already have or intend to pull other hydro off fielders
@@japsharansingh1424 I would say she keeps being one of the most valuable pulls possible. If we are talking abyss meta, she can be your hydro off fielder on the other side to enable the same teams or work together with him to make a double hydro core for teams like hyperbloom or vape. That said, she feels so much better to play in the over world than xingqiu. I almost skipped her because I already had xingqiu, but ended up pulling for her and don't have any regrets.
@@hericn she is definitely better than xinqui in many terms , but sadly will have to skip, cause I m saving for zhongli,kokomi, raiden, neuvi. Which may come soon and I won't be able to get them all. I have been loosing all my fity fifty. 😞
This banner is stacked, baby! You win almost no matter who you pull. My priority in order: #1 Yelan - I cannot overstate how good she is. If you have Yelan and Furina, your off-field hydro/sub-DPS role is set (no need to grind for that C6 Xingqiu). Generally considered like the 4th best character in the game after Furina, Kazuha and Nahida, aka the account-makers. Only downside: you need the Chasm Underground to level her past 40. #2 Navia - unless you have too many DPS' already; she's a super easy to use GEO DPS and her damage is amazing. I'm thinking about it, but I may save my pity for a Neuvillette re-run because I have too many DPSs already, although not a good GEO DPS. #3 Nilou - IMO your account should be already stacked before you seek a niche character like her. I'm always on the fence with her: I cannot doubt her damage potential or ease of building her, but I also skip her every time because in my head this character only works on one team.... and I can already clear the Abyss without that team. #4 Emilie - skip until you get to try her. I always wait and see. I remember Arlecchino being confusing in her description, but in practice she was easy and she hit like a truck. So I pulled for her. Wriothesley was the opposite. But in both cases I was glad I tried them first.
Fair point about Nilou. I mostly pulled for her because I wanted to play Kaveh. That and she's so beautiful! Kaveh is pretty difficult to play without her honestly and struggles as a unit so if anything she a fantastic buff for Kaveh. Otherwise, playing Kaveh without Nilou is a struggle and anything outside of a bloom team is just a carbon copy of Dehya as Kaveh can not do dendro damage.
@@thesmashdancers105 I agree Nilou's design is beautiful, especially the new outfit - which makes me particularly happy because I had suggested a crown of flowers to Hoyo in my survey feedback. There's always an argument for pulling who you like and if you like Nilou, she's a great pull and easy to build. That's a neat thought on Kaveh. I noticed yesterday Kaveh seems to have more bloom damage as one of his passives or constellations, which means he may work well with Nilou.
I have the other 3, and they are some of my favorites! I'm going to try for Emilie since I love her design, and a burning focused team sounds like an awesome change of pace.
Your character rating breakdown is super helpful especially for beginners doing character assessment. I suggest you add one more category : Play style complexity - because not all character play style is straightforward
Natlan/fire pretty obvious Emilie is made for future characters from that region, no game company looks retroactively, they almost always look to the future
Emilie + c6 benette actuelly seems a great combo, enemies have to be near anyways You just create constant burn, throw xianling in the mix and emilie becomes a main dps
considering I have neither, want all 4 but dont *need* any, I will look at what 4 star characters I can get on the banners to possibly narrow down the options :D
Is it generally worth rolling for Yelan to replace a C6 Xingqiu? Also, if I don't have Yelan's signature but I do have Siegewienne's will the latter outperform Favonius with an Emblem of Severed Fate build?
So I prefarmed all of Nilou's ascension and talent mats for crowning the skill and burst. Then I even farmed a pretty cracked artifact set: around 60k hp, 200 em, 60/130 crit on 2p wanderer's troupe + 2p tenacity. I'm thinking it should work with both bloom and vape, and maybe even mono hydro or taser. Whats the point of a pretty red haired dancer girl with great animations if she's always off field and glued to Nahida?
Navia is great tbh Her dmg is very good and her being atk scaler is great for playing her with Bennett and her low on field time makes her good with xiangling+yelan as well which is a great team A team that works fine in aoe and have a great front loading nuke dmg , almost perfect in every scenario
Will navia be good with dps raiden, like switching between navia's skill and raiden's burst team i was thinking of 'navia, raiden, bennett,xiangling' any opinion.
I play Navia with Bennet and Xiangling personally and the damage is exquisite. You can absolutely play with Raiden and you get a lot of shards for Navia's skill which works great! I just typically play Raiden on my other team.
I'm pulling for Nilou right away if Kaveh is on her banner, waiting for the four stars on second banner to be revealed if not. If Kaveh is on second phase, I'm probably pulling for Yelan and holding of on Nilou. If he's not on either banner, I'm pulling for Nilou to have on my Kaveh team, eventually 😂 I just want my babygirl!
I already got my Yelan on her last rerun. Now, I will be using up all of my saved wishes on Nilou's weapon banner just to get a copy of Xiphos Moonlight. Ive been waiting for that freaking sword for more than a year now. Hopefully I could get at least R5 😇😇😇
I'm still torn between pulling for Furina now or keeping my Primos for Yelan. I know Furina is like the most meta right now. But I'm not sure if I like her gameplay. High mobility characters such as Yelan seem much more fun to play to me. While Furina's gameplay is a bit too "passive", which I'm not sure if I like. What do you guys think? Which one should I pull?
Furina banner i lost 50/50 for keqing second time and then i did 5-6 pulls on that banner after losing 50 Currently did 55 wishes on Nilou banner but I'm thinking of going for Yelan.. didn't get any 5 star still on this banner yet.. If i quit now do i have high probability of getting yelan in next banner with less pulls or its just going to waste ???? Any suggestions should i go for this banner.... Torn between Navia and Nilou. Not pulling for Yelan, bc I got build c6 xing. Got nahida and kokomi for nilou, thinking to put them with ayato. Tho some comment said that Nilou will be booted after getting a skin, so idk. Navia seems good too - I got no geo dps, only Zhongli. But she's a single dmg dealer and I feel like I lack aoe in abyss. Who to pick?
You can make really good nilou teams with nahida and kokomi, and Navia is great with anyone who applies a lot of pyro/hydro/ectro/pyro off field. So if you have Xiangling, Fishl, Xingqiu or other good off field damage dealer you'll be in a great spot for her. I think for you it comes down to which team you enjoy playing more. Nilou teams are really strong but there's really only on type of team while Navia gives you some more options.
Could we get a series of videos on constellation values? There are many players who already have the characters they like and usually don't want to pull for new characters but rather want to make the ones they already have stronger with constellations. For example, is Hu Tau's C1 more valuable than Furina's? And so on ...
I would rate Hu Tao's C1 as equivalent to Furina's. I play both of these characters on the same team, with Furina at C2 and Hu Tao at C0. Having Hu Tao always running out of stamina for charge attacks seriously impacts her damage. Ideally, I would have them both at C1.
I pulled Yelan's signature weapon on Lyney weapon banner and got both bows. Since then I've been waiting for her rerun. Now I am next sure with 25 pity. Can't wait to use her with Arlecchino together.
Spontaniously went for Nilou because I already have C2 Nahida, C2 Furina and Beizhou. Was a bit scared I would regret that decision, but my god is she fun and comfortable to play, a fresh change to the hyper carry teams I am usually playing. She's not even level 80 yet and has crap artifacts, but she already feels very comfortable and fun to play and can clear pretty tough content without breaking a sweat (kinda makes sense with Nahida and Furina on C2, but still).
Well, I guess I don't even have to wonder because with me building just a tiny bit if pity I got 3 5 stars out if 5 pulls and that included navia, mona and nilou, so I'm wondering if I can save enough in time for the Pyro archon

Chiori into Navia is a super high buff to her damage. Use any applicator (I throw down a Ganyu burst), then Chiori into Navia. Very satisfying shotgun that blasts for 300k if they're all C0 but have decent gear
I started this video wanting to get either Navia, (because the only Geo characters I have are Geo Traveler, Noelle, and Ninguang) or Emilie, because she's new and looks good. I ended up after this video deciding on Yelan.
Soooo, I was going to skip 4.8 all together because I didn’t really like Emilie (until I heard her voice lines) and figured I’d just roll on the weapon banner to try to get Xiphos and some other weapon refines to build weapon pity for when Wriothesley returns…. And I pulled Verdict at 50 pity… so now I kinda have to pull for Navia or else the glamour great-axe goes to waste in my inventory 😅

Yelan is definitely gonna be the highest priority, being one of the best supports ever. She'd work so well with your Arlecchino. The first two would only be a matter of preference for you. Navia is one of the best DPS and Nilou is a very easy to build character, and both of them is very strong af, it's just a matter of who u like more (and whether or not u already have supports for them ofc). At the end of the day, just pull for who u like bro lmao

I kinda want Nilou bc I could run Neuvi, Nilou, Nahida, Yao Yao. I feel like that team would do unbelievable amounts of damage since my Neuvi already does unbelievable amounts of damage at C1 R1.
this time is fine since you have c1 so he doesn’t get interrupted by the blooms. however you’re gonna get far less bloom damage in this team and you’re really only relying on neuvillettes raw talent damage since ur procing less blooms. i wouldnt really recommend pulling for nilou just to make my neuvillette team stronger. also neuvillete is fine without furina since he’s op but they both synergize extremely well together so if u have both of them built its recommended to play them together. i would recommend just playing a neuvillette hypercarry on one side and then nilou + kokomi + nahida + dendro supdps OR nilou + hydro supdbs + nahida + yaoyao/baizhu but obviously if you really like both characters and want to play them together, then its still a decent team and u should just play for fun anyway

I don't see how Emilie's dendro appication is bad when it basically has 100% uptime which no other dendro character can claim? I wish there was a pyro character with half as much off-field pyro application as her. I'm a big fan of DoT tick damage so very strongly considering pulling for her to enable a proper burning team that doesn't keep running out of steam because the dendro has fallen off the enemies/been used up.

Yelan movement is top tier for overworld, and her charged attack trivializes a lot of puzzles/daily quests

The game isn't that hard anyway, you should get the character you like better imo. It's a game you're playing it to have fun 🤗
You honestly can't go wrong with either one. Pair Navia with Benny. She doesn't get reactions but that skill HITS HARD. And i mean REDICULOUSLY hard.
IMHO Yelan is the TOP1 character to pull for a new account. She'll be usefull from the moment you get her until the eternity. And she HUGELY improves the exploration in the game. I use her literally everyday.
It's hard to emphasize enough how great she is even if you already have or intend to pull other hydro off fielders
Yelan and Zhongli were my first characters, with a double Bennet and Yanfei off the starter banner. The game was beaten from the start.

@@japsharansingh1424 I would say she keeps being one of the most valuable pulls possible. If we are talking abyss meta, she can be your hydro off fielder on the other side to enable the same teams or work together with him to make a double hydro core for teams like hyperbloom or vape.
That said, she feels so much better to play in the over world than xingqiu.
I almost skipped her because I already had xingqiu, but ended up pulling for her and don't have any regrets.
Unless you have c6 xingqiu and a furina, then you have enough hydro for her to not be a must pull imo
@@hericn she is definitely better than xinqui in many terms , but sadly will have to skip, cause I m saving for zhongli,kokomi, raiden, neuvi. Which may come soon and I won't be able to get them all. I have been loosing all my fity fifty. 😞

This banner is stacked, baby! You win almost no matter who you pull. My priority in order:
#1 Yelan - I cannot overstate how good she is. If you have Yelan and Furina, your off-field hydro/sub-DPS role is set (no need to grind for that C6 Xingqiu). Generally considered like the 4th best character in the game after Furina, Kazuha and Nahida, aka the account-makers. Only downside: you need the Chasm Underground to level her past 40.
#2 Navia - unless you have too many DPS' already; she's a super easy to use GEO DPS and her damage is amazing. I'm thinking about it, but I may save my pity for a Neuvillette re-run because I have too many DPSs already, although not a good GEO DPS.
#3 Nilou - IMO your account should be already stacked before you seek a niche character like her. I'm always on the fence with her: I cannot doubt her damage potential or ease of building her, but I also skip her every time because in my head this character only works on one team.... and I can already clear the Abyss without that team.
#4 Emilie - skip until you get to try her. I always wait and see. I remember Arlecchino being confusing in her description, but in practice she was easy and she hit like a truck. So I pulled for her. Wriothesley was the opposite. But in both cases I was glad I tried them first.
Fair point about Nilou. I mostly pulled for her because I wanted to play Kaveh. That and she's so beautiful! Kaveh is pretty difficult to play without her honestly and struggles as a unit so if anything she a fantastic buff for Kaveh.
Otherwise, playing Kaveh without Nilou is a struggle and anything outside of a bloom team is just a carbon copy of Dehya as Kaveh can not do dendro damage.
@@thesmashdancers105 I agree Nilou's design is beautiful, especially the new outfit - which makes me particularly happy because I had suggested a crown of flowers to Hoyo in my survey feedback. There's always an argument for pulling who you like and if you like Nilou, she's a great pull and easy to build.
That's a neat thought on Kaveh. I noticed yesterday Kaveh seems to have more bloom damage as one of his passives or constellations, which means he may work well with Nilou.

Natlan/fire pretty obvious Emilie is made for future characters from that region, no game company looks retroactively, they almost always look to the future
Emilie + c6 benette actuelly seems a great combo, enemies have to be near anyways
You just create constant burn, throw xianling in the mix and emilie becomes a main dps
Emilie, XL, c6 benny and either nahida, zhongli, or baizhu would probably be the best team for her!
considering I have neither, want all 4 but dont *need* any, I will look at what 4 star characters I can get on the banners to possibly narrow down the options :D

So I prefarmed all of Nilou's ascension and talent mats for crowning the skill and burst. Then I even farmed a pretty cracked artifact set: around 60k hp, 200 em, 60/130 crit on 2p wanderer's troupe + 2p tenacity. I'm thinking it should work with both bloom and vape, and maybe even mono hydro or taser. Whats the point of a pretty red haired dancer girl with great animations if she's always off field and glued to Nahida?
Navia is great tbh
Her dmg is very good and her being atk scaler is great for playing her with Bennett and her low on field time makes her good with xiangling+yelan as well which is a great team
A team that works fine in aoe and have a great front loading nuke dmg , almost perfect in every scenario
Will navia be good with dps raiden, like switching between navia's skill and raiden's burst team i was thinking of 'navia, raiden, bennett,xiangling' any opinion.
I play Navia with Bennet and Xiangling personally and the damage is exquisite. You can absolutely play with Raiden and you get a lot of shards for Navia's skill which works great! I just typically play Raiden on my other team.
I'm pulling for Nilou right away if Kaveh is on her banner, waiting for the four stars on second banner to be revealed if not. If Kaveh is on second phase, I'm probably pulling for Yelan and holding of on Nilou. If he's not on either banner, I'm pulling for Nilou to have on my Kaveh team, eventually 😂 I just want my babygirl!

I'm still torn between pulling for Furina now or keeping my Primos for Yelan. I know Furina is like the most meta right now. But I'm not sure if I like her gameplay. High mobility characters such as Yelan seem much more fun to play to me. While Furina's gameplay is a bit too "passive", which I'm not sure if I like.

Furina banner i lost 50/50 for keqing second time and then i did 5-6 pulls on that banner after losing 50

Navia seems good too - I got no geo dps, only Zhongli. But she's a single dmg dealer and I feel like I lack aoe in abyss.
Who to pick?
You can make really good nilou teams with nahida and kokomi, and Navia is great with anyone who applies a lot of pyro/hydro/ectro/pyro off field. So if you have Xiangling, Fishl, Xingqiu or other good off field damage dealer you'll be in a great spot for her. I think for you it comes down to which team you enjoy playing more. Nilou teams are really strong but there's really only on type of team while Navia gives you some more options.

There are many players who already have the characters they like and usually don't want to pull for new characters but rather want to make the ones they already have stronger with constellations.
For example, is Hu Tau's C1 more valuable than Furina's? And so on ...
I would rate Hu Tao's C1 as equivalent to Furina's. I play both of these characters on the same team, with Furina at C2 and Hu Tao at C0. Having Hu Tao always running out of stamina for charge attacks seriously impacts her damage. Ideally, I would have them both at C1.
Does yelan pair well with Alhaitham and furina? Or should I wait for Zhongli?

You don't have to, but it's better if you do. Geo traveler is especially good from what I know

Spontaniously went for Nilou because I already have C2 Nahida, C2 Furina and Beizhou. Was a bit scared I would regret that decision, but my god is she fun and comfortable to play, a fresh change to the hyper carry teams I am usually playing. She's not even level 80 yet and has crap artifacts, but she already feels very comfortable and fun to play and can clear pretty tough content without breaking a sweat (kinda makes sense with Nahida and Furina on C2, but still).
Well, I guess I don't even have to wonder because with me building just a tiny bit if pity I got 3 5 stars out if 5 pulls and that included navia, mona and nilou, so I'm wondering if I can save enough in time for the Pyro archon

Chiori into Navia is a super high buff to her damage. Use any applicator (I throw down a Ganyu burst), then Chiori into Navia. Very satisfying shotgun that blasts for 300k if they're all C0 but have decent gear
I started this video wanting to get either Navia, (because the only Geo characters I have are Geo Traveler, Noelle, and Ninguang) or Emilie, because she's new and looks good. I ended up after this video deciding on Yelan.

Soooo, I was going to skip 4.8 all together because I didn’t really like Emilie (until I heard her voice lines) and figured I’d just roll on the weapon banner to try to get Xiphos and some other weapon refines to build weapon pity for when Wriothesley returns…. And I pulled Verdict at 50 pity… so now I kinda have to pull for Navia or else the glamour great-axe goes to waste in my inventory 😅

Yelan is definitely gonna be the highest priority, being one of the best supports ever. She'd work so well with your Arlecchino. The first two would only be a matter of preference for you. Navia is one of the best DPS and Nilou is a very easy to build character, and both of them is very strong af, it's just a matter of who u like more (and whether or not u already have supports for them ofc).
At the end of the day, just pull for who u like bro lmao

I kinda want Nilou bc I could run Neuvi, Nilou, Nahida, Yao Yao. I feel like that team would do unbelievable amounts of damage since my Neuvi already does unbelievable amounts of damage at C1 R1.
this time is fine since you have c1 so he doesn’t get interrupted by the blooms. however you’re gonna get far less bloom damage in this team and you’re really only relying on neuvillettes raw talent damage since ur procing less blooms.
i wouldnt really recommend pulling for nilou just to make my neuvillette team stronger. also neuvillete is fine without furina since he’s op but they both synergize extremely well together so if u have both of them built its recommended to play them together.
i would recommend just playing a neuvillette hypercarry on one side and then nilou + kokomi + nahida + dendro supdps OR nilou + hydro supdbs + nahida + yaoyao/baizhu
but obviously if you really like both characters and want to play them together, then its still a decent team and u should just play for fun anyway

I don't see how Emilie's dendro appication is bad when it basically has 100% uptime which no other dendro character can claim? I wish there was a pyro character with half as much off-field pyro application as her.
I'm a big fan of DoT tick damage so very strongly considering pulling for her to enable a proper burning team that doesn't keep running out of steam because the dendro has fallen off the enemies/been used up.
