- Can I make a Cinderella petticoat entirely from second hand and thrifted fabrics? Let's find out!
I'm making a Cinderella ballgown and I wanted to make the petticoat entirely as an upcycled project but will I be able to find enough?
How much fabric did I use? I tried to keep track the yards of secondhand fabric and number of sheer curtains but there was just too much and I lost count. I noted 14 curtains and 54 yards before I stopped tracking so we know it's more than that.
Next up is the dress! Wish me luck!

Could a petticoat be more beautiful? NO! I love it so, so much.
Thank you so much! I also love twirling in it!
Love that youre doing this via upcycling, looks so beautiful so far! I try to use second hand fabrics for my cosplays too, i love how you can make really cool stuff out of a pillow case for example 🤗
I’ve made several whole cosplays from just thrifted curtains and I love the added challenge! Plus there is just a crazy amount of fabric in this petticoat
Oooh I love what you did! Obsessed on how it flows!
Thank you! I can't wait to see it with the dress on top!
I just discovered your channel and I am insanely impressed with your sewing endurance! Also, what a beautiful petticoat!
Aww thank you! I’m working on the dress now!
