I know he’ll never see this but - I grew up listening to Kenny in the car with my aunt no matter where we went. I spent a lot of my childhood in the car. She was my single parent all throughout childhood. Now that I’m far from home and my aunt lives alone, listening to this gives me a bittersweet nostalgic feeling about the past. I can’t wait to see her again when the holidays come around..

I have been following Kenny since 1994. I grew up listing for him on an almost daily basis and then one day I found that he was coming to town to film Young. At the time my mom worked at the local sheriff's office as a call taker and they were looking for volunteers to be on the security team. She was chosen and was allowed to take one guest. The unfortunate thing is the day of we got a call that her position had been canceled. To make up for it, we got to see him in Daytona Beach the next year! Now in 6 weeks and counting, we get to see him in Sioux Falls, SD. Can't wait to see you!!!! Thanks for all you do.

I’ve heard this song recently while we was at the Sport’s Clip for my brother’s haircut for his first day of middle school tomorrow. I told my mother that I loved this song. I eventually think that it was Kenny Chesney since his singing voice sounds familiar. So I looked through his songs on the playlist and when I found this song, I knew that it was Mr. Chesney who sang this song! :D

I'm not a big country fan, but I like this song. I like the lyrics and it has enough rock overtones for crossover appeal.
I hear this song overhead at my part time job and it reminds me of when I was young and older people telling me how short life is but when you're a kid life seems like forever and slow and you want to be older than a kid but when the decades roll by you realize that what they said about how short it is was in fact correct. Feel a little sad and miss those days of freedom with my best friends when I thought it was going to go on like that always. Life is changes, one after another. Enjoy all that you get of it.

I grew up driving this bridge he filmed on...it was an old drawbridge bridging the St. John's from Sanford, FL to Debary, FL...we used to wait forever for a boat to pass, then they built the 1792 bridge in about 2001...Chesney was going from a show in Tampa area to Jax I believe and saw the old bridge (now a fishing pier)from the tour bus and wanted to shoot a vid there. Couldn't believe it when I first saw the vid on CMT...then 9/11 happened shortly after and we forgot about this awesome vid...
