Yeah I'm black (West African) and have always thought something was wrong with me for loving country until I first stumbled on Darius's song (this one) last year and realized he's black and sings country! Music is just music, ain't no color to it

I’m 30 and here watching this in New Zealand, I have a massive fascination with the USA, not been there yet but this video is exactly how I picture it, at least the south anyway. I just want to get over there, buy an old Ford truck and drive it across every state stopping at little towns and bars, finding things and meeting people, listening to music like this as a go.

Me and my dad would listen to this song every weekend on our way up north to go fishing. We would never catch anything but we had so much fun doing it! (That was 7 years ago) I’m now a high schooler and well, nothing has happened to him, I just wish I wouldn’t have turned him down so many times because I miss going fishing. He thought I got tired of it, sold his truck and trailer, and bought a new car. The point of the story is don’t underestimate the time with your parents, the video games, hang out with friends, calls, texts can wait...
