    In case anyone was wondering, you need to tap on the newly drawn (topology brush) mesh , to create the actual geometry. Then split the objects.

    Have you ever thought about making a ZModeler series of quick tutorials?
    I think ZModeler in combination with topology brush technique would allow to do some good ground work for retopology.

    • @DannyMac3d
      @DannyMac3d  Před 6 lety +1

      I think zmodeller with be covered at some point for sure, there's so much ground to cover, 60 seconds at a time :D

    • @AntonioFelaco
      @AntonioFelaco Před 6 lety

    this legit sped up my sculpting to topology...all this time was using adaptive skin from zsphere topology... you make the individual polgyon, but man does it take ages....

    Say I have a 2m long plane used as a tiling mesh, and Id like to draw a topology across it in a way that the pattern is also tiled (the far edges line up to repeat the pattern. How could I do this?

    Sometimes I have issue going from a hi resolution mesh to a production model, especially if that model doesn't use maps or any kind of bake. I tend to use Zbrush to get quick iterations in design for the meshes, but I run into problems when I try to get the mesh to be true to its original design or shape. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Usually its more simple characters. Thanks!

    I can't seem to get the loop to work. I hold shift and it just makes a straight line.
    EDIT: I think my issue was that I was using it on a ZSphere model rather than an "actual" mesh.
