I would leave the door panel as they are mate, as it looks lovely like that as there are lots of cream coloured panels throughout the car including the roof

It amazes me how well made the leather work is on even the base model Saabs.
After owning several caddies and other "loaded" GM cars with thin crappy leather, you begin to really appreciate the Materials and craft in the Saab upholstery.
She's pretty hyped, haha!
I currently have an all-black interior 9-3 but after seeing that two-tone I think i'ma have to get on those cream doors!

I actually WANTED a red 9-3 hatch with a beige interior... couldn't find one and got one with gray. To this day still torn on which I would like more. I know the gray doesn't show grime but man... something so cool about tan and red.
I think black suits the red better, but that's just my opinion

Those rear passenger seat you can just spray them black color as most rear are in good condition .... save your $$$ and your work too !

idk if spraying leather with paint is a great idea, especially when it's not that hard to remove lol
@@AutoAutopsy there are lots of car seat rebuild video ( like cushion and leather replacement ) they all spray paint to match leather color or change color ! !

I'm kinda liking that two tone look also and the tan door panels look to be in good shape. Glad you showed how easy it was to take the seatbelt trim panel off I need to fix or replace my nearside belt that is sticking when pulled out. Oh, and it looks like Jacob got his Turbo-X wheels back :0)

Very cool! I like the 2-tone as well. More of a statement and nice contrasts with the red but that’s just me. Reminds me of some of the Aeros and Volvos with the 2-tone interiors.

I think you changed the color of your hair, and it looks AWESOME Jacob 🙂. The two tone interior color looks so cool please keep it, and if you good forward with changing out the door panels it's all good. My vote is for the two tone color to stay.

that was epic, just got a used saab, stereos unplugged somewhere and seats stuck because I went under the seat and messed it up somehow. Anyway you could do a video on how to fix under the driver seat in case you remove a bolt and don't know what you're doing? lol,

I actually like it with the current door panels, I think two tones is much better than making whole interior black. Don't forget about the headliner and the dash, you can't make them black. So, keep it as is

The seat leather in this era SAAB was atrocious. My 2000 Viggen is uncracked &soft, my 2009 (gone) was thus bad
The OG 9-3's we had were probably worse than the NG (at least in my opinion). Maybe the Viggen is different though. I think the B50 interior on the 9-3 is a huge factory upgrade in terms of quality though!
