I'm glad someone did a deep dive into the game anti chamber this is one of my favorite games the minimalistic design illogical movement in space and puzzles your video was very nice it's a shame it doesn't get more attention

Or, to put it more verbosely: The side with fewer (connected) blocks always vanishes. The solution to this puzzle is to put a large "plug" of blocks at the near end of the fuse, so that it is forced to vanish in the opposite direction.
The puzzle at 6:12 is meant to surprise players who have already worked this out, because the larger green side vanishes instead of the smaller red side. When you come back with the red gun, you realize that the red side is in fact quite deep, rather than just being a one-block wall as the green side is. This is why the sign after the green side indicates that outcomes can be confusing if you're missing information - it's a hint that the red side is not what it appears.
