Anyone else hypnotised by the floating coins? I was trying to work out if they were like real and was surprised when he mentioned them.
My guess would be that there's something connecting them from below that's barely visible from distance

And still get the Disney experience! Only pay $40 and you can actually enjoy everything in the land, be a "cheapskate" and don't want to increase your ticket price by about 40% ... well you can ride the one ride there and buy some food, have a nice day

@@tmangb it functions like the corresponding character amiibo on the band. If you buy the princess peach band, you can use it as a princess peach amiibo on your systems, and use it with games like smash brothers ultimate or other compatible games, and the same applies for the other characters.

Single rider for Mario Kart! Standby was FOUR HOURS when I went a few weeks ago; girlfriend and I got on in about 45 mins via the single rider line (and didn't feel cheated out of the experience, as it's so visually overstimulating that riding with or without your party doesn't really make a difference)

very unfortunate for those non-american of us who only get to visit this parks once every 10 years, we loose hours making lines for attractions and we miss out on all the fun because of that. There is no point for us to spend 40$ on the band and loose time there and won't get to experience the rest of the park. Considering how on a non-media day, the crowds are brutal
VIP tour. We rode everything 3 times. We couldve gone more, but we were tired
You got ripped off then! Not worth $300 a ticket when you can just go at a time where it’s not super busy. Only an idiot would over pay like that.

I gotta agree about the charm being the interactive elements but those power bands are definitely too expensive lol especially if there's someone like me who to visit the park would only go a few times in their lifetime since they're from another country lol

This honestly looks really cool it looks just like you’re actually in the mario world
The binoculars give you hidden things as well. For ex. If you zoom in on certain things you get animated cut scenes that happen.

The power-up band is worth it because it's not only useful for the park, but also when you go home you can use it as an amiibo.

Hey Raúl! With the attraction wait time, the interactive elements, the key challenges, and the restaurant, I'd say it could take between 2-4 hours to see everything.

I think there’s three other ways to get a key, when you find all the 8 bit characters, hitting all the blocks upstairs, and on the binoculars zooming in on the air ship by the clouds in the sky
EASTER EGG:
Take a good look at Bowser’s Portrait in the main que. Miyamoto left us a gift.
A very important tip: go to the japanese one instead, they have one more ride + a really cool princess peach dessert! It's the one from super mario 64, the original cake.
Imagine there was parkour challenge where you need jump around soft platforms, like in mario games
I do kinda wish they would have made the Mario kart ride more focused on speed with AR included.

So contender for Disney parks. Good Good.
After visiting both Nintendo Worlds in Japan and Hollywood, I feel that both parks are better in their own ways.
In Japan, there is a lot more different activities to do, with more variety of different foods that are way better than Hollywood's Toadstool Cafe (Except for the Burgers, Hollywood does them better), and rides like Mario Kart, compared to Hollywood, takes less time to line up for than in Hollywood. If you are lucky, you can get in to Japan's Nintendo World as early as 7:30am in the morning.
However, unlike Hollywood, there are some days where you MUST book a Timed Entry Ticket (Virtual Line) in order to get to the park, and sometimes you must go to a specialized kiosk to book them. Meeting mascots (except Toad) is much stricter, due to the fact that unlike Hollywood, you are not allowed to have your phone to take pictures with mascots, you must stand in a specific position when you meet mascots, you must pose how the mascot poses for pictures, and you must pay 6000 yen for pictures.
I will be going in March 8th im so excited!!!😭 but im gonna be soo broke after 🙃. Also looking forward to the movie but just a bit disappointed that Charles Martinet will not be voicing Mario. I met him and i wish i could have asked him why he wasn't voicing mario in the the movie 😭 hes seemed like really nice guy

We need an interactive Star Fox ride, a Donkey Kong jungle swimming area, a Zelda Lost Woods maze and a Metroid area with a shooting gallery.
The powerup bands would be CRAZY expensive for a big family like mine.
I decided to look up the power bands to see what characters they have, it turns out that they are also compatible as amiibo with the nintendo switch!

I got there at 8am sharp and there were already 300+ people in line to Mario Land. After you get into the land, it's an additional 120 to 180 minute wait. Another mistake, don't go to Universal during spring break season!
Since I have a pass, I skipped Mario and enjoyed 10 min wait times on all the rides at the rest of the park.
The bands work as amiibos too

They made a mistake not making the Mario kart ride trackless that could be random and quicker like other rides around
