I’ve played this game, and they’ll literally have the other characters tell you that you’re boring/hurtful/a coward, or just make really passive aggressive comments on your outfit “choice” (that you made because the other options cost like 40 diamonds). It’s kinda fucked up, especially considering how many tweens use the app, that they’re basically trying to train you into spending diamonds.

So I wonder if the episode app owners just go through episodes that are getting traction and slap prices on the best choices without the creators choice. Or somehow they require the creator to have paid choices, which I don’t think that would work because they could just cheat the system and make the paid choice the shit one.

David Dowie yeah but the truth is, a lot of shitty apps aren’t made by random people who want to make a living through making games. They were referring to game developers who work for massive corporations and churn out a shit game for thousands of people to download so that they can make millions with minimal effort. Not all free games are like this, for example Best Fiends has in game purchases but it all goes to charity so I think it’s okay. The app industry tends to be a a ruthless money machine. The money hungry ones are the ones who make shitty apps that they obviously don’t care about to make millions off of kids who download the game without knowing it’s intentions.

Creator made stories are usually the best ones cause they’re completely free and some people actually have good story lines. But the community can be toxic asf 😭 (coming from someone that was working on coding their own story…)

I had episode when i was like 10 and all i remember is how INSANE the plotlines were...the main one i played was this royal baby one where my character fell in love with a guy named Sebastian and got pregnant (i didn't really understand sex at this age so i was confused) and of course he was a prince. And then Sebastian's older brother died in a car crash a few years back but PLOT TWIST he survived and was plotting revenge against the couple and was in cahoots with their EVIL MOTHER and yeah that's all i can recall
