Personally, regarding team try vs individual try, I don't hold one up as better than the other. They're both great, and highlight different aspects of the game. Whether it's Duhan galloping through like a Wildebeest on the charge, a bit of Dupont, Ntamack or Russell sleight of hand, an beautiful attacking line from an unexpected angle or player, or getting it through hands out wide, they're all works of art in their own way.

Technically speaking, even dotting down a try while running would be tricky, since the definition of the difference between running and walking is that, while running, at certain points in the gait, both feet will be off the ground...

Honestly this has to be one of the best 6nations of all time. The rugby played was so good in my opinion. Well I'm french so I might be biased but really, Italy playing good rugby too was really nice to see. Ireland too strong, France magnificent, Scotland nice rugby too. England and Wales not so much but they will come back stronger. I'm sad that it took us a defeat against Ireland to start playing like last year again.

full backs don't have great tackle statistics, Freedie Steward was so bad against VDM, it made the try look a lot better than it actually was. VDM wouldn't have scored that against France or Ireland.

van Der Merwe, it had everything, pace, power, agility and number of opponents beaten. I donât draw a distinction between solo and team effort but as others have said, that try will be in the highlights reels for years to come, long after the team efforts are forgotten.

The funnyest thing about this try is that it starts with a terrible pass from ntamack, because the ref was in the way, then ramos just gave it to penaud and the rest was great. It was all about making the most out of Ă crappy situation wich surprised an otherwise very well organised irish defense
As an Ireland supporter iv loved this series.some beautiful rugby in great matches. Respect to all the sides. But Van de Merwe was awesome, one of the best solo tries of all time in my book. As good as that finish was, Iâd bet that Lowe, Hansen, Anthony Watson, Capuozzo, Fickau, Pennaud, May, Darcy Graham would all (and many more players) have finished that try. The solo, I wouldnât be so sure

DVdM did everything right to score a great try, but rugby is about the speed of the transfer of the ball to the man in the right place to score, so for me, Penaud's try against England is the winner. To score in this way from a set piece was wonderful. 12 seconds from lineout throw to touchdown at the other side of the field! Chapeau!

Best try for me was Penaud against Wales. N'tamak does the work, Dupont does a pass you can only see in video games and Penaud does the finishing. I just loved it.
DVM I'm sure plenty ski champions were jelous of his outstanding slalom. The try also reminded me of Jonah Lomu driving through English players, but this one was even better.

DVdM did everything right to score a great try, but rugby is about the speed of the transfer of the ball to the man in the right place to score, so for me, Penaud's try against England is the winner. To score in this way from a set piece was wonderful. 12 seconds from lineout throw to touchdown at the other side of the field! Chapeau!
