This Is Rugby. | Ange Capuozzo Creates Try Of The Year vs Wales ( Six Nations 2022)

  • What a moment this was in the Italy vs Wales clash in the Six Nations, words simply can't describe it. This is why rugby is such an amazing sport. Italy has not been the best over the last couple of years and have been constantly hearing about how they're not deserving of playing in the Six Nations. The media has been hammering them with "Relegation". Yet, throughout all of that constant pressure, they come up with this performance to show the world that they are deserving of playing top level rugby. They earned my respect with that and I'm sure I'm not the only one who they convinced.
As for Ange Capuozzo, take a bow... That moment at the end was magic. He might have single handedly saved Italy's rugby with that spark. He made an absolute ridiculous break and created what should be the try of the year. I know it's still early in the season but with the context of this game and what it meant, I can't see there being a better try scored in that. It might have been one of the most important tries scored in Italy's rugby history.
To cap of this beautiful game, at the end something amazing happened. Josh Adams (Who won the Player of The Match Award), went over to Capuozzo and gave him the award. That was just amazing sportsmanship shown by Josh Adams and I tip my hat to him. That is what rugby is all about. Rugby was the big winner after this game!

@@Garethjames696 You make too many incorrect assumptions. I was supporting Ireland until the end. But losing isn't everything. You have to appreciate great rugby when you see it and so I was delighted for France because they played excellent rugby and they had a long famine of not winning the Grand Slam since 2010. Also supported Wales in the Italy v Wales game but seeing the great rugby Italy played I was very happy for them to win after losing their last 36 matches in the 6 Nations. Don't assume too much !! 👍😁
