Final 12 Minutes Of Italy's INCREDIBLE Win in Wales | 2022 Guinness Six Nations

  • Relive the final 12 minutes of an incredible match in Cardiff as Italy secured their first Guinness Six Nations victory since 2015 with the final kick of the match.
It had looked as if Wales had secured victory thanks to second-half tries from Dewi Lake and Josh Adams only for Edoardo Padovani to crash over with one minute on the clock after stunning work from Ange Capuozzo on his first start.

Fabulous. However, I can’t believe that the coverage doesn’t include Josh Adams giving his man of the match medal to Ange Capuozzo, the Azurri’s fullback, immediately after the match. Such an exemplary sporting gesture. Hats off to you Mr Adams, you are a true gentleman.

Actually Italy is rebuilding its team. Since Marzio Innocenti came to the presidency of the Italian rugby federation the whole governance of the technical activity has been changed. The U 20 beat England for the first ever time and won 3 out of 5 games in the youth's Six Nations; right now Italy A Team, the equivalent of the England Saxons, beat Europe's 2nd tier senior squads except maybe for Georgia and Romania, the only sides to which Italy grants the test match. It's a slow process because the past governance wasted time and resources and spent money in useless academies which didn't benefit the best players but the most influential clubs (see: those who elected him).

Loved that low key Kaponga reaction by Kieran Crowley, like a duck on the water, cool and calm upstairs paddling like hell underneath! Taranaki cool, that is, right there. He cried at the final whistle and he didn't buy another beer all night (as everyone was buying for him!). A hard loss to take but when you see how much it means to someone and a country like Italia after the years of wooden spoons and no win campaigns. I'll take it and tip the cap. This is the best feeling i ever had in my life and i’ll never ever experienced that again. Rugby is just a sport that has some of these moment of pure emition that you can’t describe. Warriors on the pitch but friends off, maybe it was the same for football matches. Come on Azzurri and long live Italy and congratulations to all the fans of this sport.

For all the justified plaudits about that sublime break from Capuozzo, the Italian forwards collectively had an immense game. against a very good pack.
The held up try was decided by the ref thinking that it had not been grounded and while I thought it had been, no one was in a better position than the ref.
I loved that Josh Adams gave Capuozzo his MOM medal but while Capuozzo was the man of the moment Adams was certainly the man of the match.
Cardiff is one of the hardest places to win.
Finally that in and out was obscene. No one would have made that tackle.
No comp compares to the 6N.

Eventually, Italy might have found its own Shane Williams... and yet, Brex has been seen tackling the bus driver while going away from the stadium as well, Fischetti has been seen stealing the ball, the wallet and the blues from everyone he met and Ioane has been stopped twice in the motorway for having broken the speed limit... this Italy can actually get something good in the close future
