refs cannot be like an IA, & checking everything is impossible without extending the game to a 10 hours boring & ugly spectacle. Mistakes are admitted for players because playing rugby is a difficult task, same thing for the refs. Sometimes you're at the top, sometimes you're not, "c'est la vie". If you want to win, you have to play better than your opponent & deserve victory. Refs are part of the game, you have to deal with them, as simple as that. Respect rugby refs if they are wrong (but not cheating). This is the right rugby behaviour that makes us love this game. Don't want to see the miserable football players & fans behaviour on a rugby field. 😉

I do think he was contesting legally. However, the states occur and I believe the referee made the right decision. A red card wars certainly justified. You can see him only concentrating on the ball as he goes up he realize that somebody ahead of him.

There was actually an equally bad call in the 6N 2 years before this, in that famous victory italy had over wales. Everyone forgets that wyn jones had a perfectly good try chalked off for this very same reason at 71 mins, absolute robbery.

Great video, however i disagree that the wales + italy offences are the same. The italian player made no attempt to go for the ball wheras liam williams clearly had his eyes on the ball the whole time and just mis-timed the jump. I get your point though and i have definitely seen worse examples of the same thing where i do think its inconsistent. The yellow card for the hand off was a disgrace though.

corruption , and biased . the referees , linesman etc all do as they are instructed and controlled by the order. the orders are directed from the governing body and all those under the governing body obey that governing body regardless of disputes on field or off.... the game is biased because of this corrupted hierarchy.. =money . profit ,control. =. corporate ownership .the sport does as it is told. the officials do as they are told. the media do as they are told. players do as they are told.and so do you.

No ref , of course can be 100% accurate and so makes mistakes and so it is up to World Rugby ref tzar o pick this up and rate the refs on their integrity. Andrew’s is below average and he needs remedial work to bring him up to par. Overall he is worth working on.

For what it is worth most English rugby supporters agree Farrell is a liability with his tackling and this red should never have been appealed. Not that I am a major fan of this youtube channel. It is very incomsistent in what it chooses to show.
