- Hello everyone and welcome to the patch notes for version 1.5 of KLK:IF Restitched.
After a very long wait we have another patch ready for you guys!
The focus for this patch was one of our first "tech" patch's for the game so there will be alot more behind the scenes changes then gameplay balance changes.

The amount of work here is crazy, and massive shout-outs go to everyone involved. I was waiting to see if Restitched would get an update like this, and I'm so glad it happened.

I for one am very excited for the very first DTR buff since you started doing this. Probably the last too ain’t it?
I could never play this game properly since it launched despite my system being capable of running AAA games and I'm hoping the backface culling helps make the game playable for me. Looking forward to this and the future updates!
I hope it's the tipping factor to make it work for your system! The more people that can play the game the better!
@@IronFoxfire Just tested out the game again with v1.5. I can definitely see some big differences but, unfortunately, it still isn't good enough for my system.
While there are time the game is running at 50-60fps (which is something I've never experienced in the past so that's good), there are also time where the game's running at 20fps or lower as if the game suddenly is moving in slow motion.
If I were to guess it is due to both assets in the game and particles during combat (even at low particle setting its still a problem). The game seems to demand way too much, even more than the other games I play such as Destiny 2, Monster Hunter World, and Rise.
I hope to try this game again soon once my system can fully run it, or I guess when I get a new one in the future. Thanks for all your hard work!
@Gazna11 Damn that's unlucky, but good to see there is an improvement! I was curious, though, since it's something we have noticed with testing. How well does your game run after Houkas or Satsukis Bakuzan long-range special?
@@Gazna11 Was scrounging around the steam discussions and here is a fix someone found for their performance issue. Maybe it can be the magic bullet for you
1. Press Windows key and search for Graphics setting
2. Select Browse files
3. Search for the Kill la Kill If File with the game Icon on it(it might take a while but don't worry you will probably find it eventually)
4. Select the file and press the options button
5. Change the setting from "Let Windows Decide" to "High Performance"
This should make it always utilize the right graphics card
