Tatiana's 10 was probably my favorite wave I've ever seen a woman surf and no doubt the best of the event for me.
I can't wait to see what confidence it brings in the future.
Vahine and Tatiana Blew the lid off!! But watching all these surfers take it to the next level is just INCREDIBLE. WOW, what a BRILLIANT DISPLAY!! This compilation is gonna be feeding me for years to come!!🤩
Epic surfing in top Teahupoo from the men and the women. Special mention also to the magnificent coverage from the producers and directors and camera work and drone pilots of the WSL. An absolute joy to watch 💯
To me a ten is awarded when the surfer has done everything they could to maximise the wave. Nothing they could do any better. I think the judges were spot on in most instances. Tati had the wave of her life.

WSL please bring back Barton Lynch. Hes the best surf commentator by a country mile. I watched the whole event and its really lacking on the commentary side

Kiapo keeps getting names and scores wrong. And when he doesn't know what to say he just rambles nonsense
It's insane how many 10s the judges didn't give. Some surfers should have had 2 10s at least in that event, others even more, Medina for example should have had a 20pts heat.
they need to leave room because if they give someone a 10 and then someone else gets a wave even better, they dont have anywhere to go on the scale. in my opinion the judges shouldv'e been a bit harsher with the scores with what the potential is on a day like that.

I really hope the Teahupoo contest during the Olympics isn't a massive anticlimax after this amazing event.

must agree with Kelly's wave. Water angle shows so deep high up on the foam ball then after that more tube time. It was a 10. Gabe got two tens. Ramzi got a 10.0. They judges are spoiling the fun.

Nothing against the women's event but... just make it separate highlights. Their waves pale compared to the dudes event. Not fair.

The WSL only exists in its modern form because of womens surfing. For most of the WSL/ASP's history it was a money losing passion project from the wife of a billionaire.
