You missed the apportunity to make them sing the theme song in their language It would be hilarious 😂
Yeah they should do one video reacting to theme songs with subtitles. There are some bangers in India.
They shud totally do that
Especially kochikame and hagaemaru both were unique 😝
*Opportunity 🙃
@@DennisTheInternationalMenace you really want to start this 😐
In anime culture Korea, Indonesia and Brazil follows Japan in pronunciation, real partners.
India and US walks together in pronunciation it's pretty too theses culturals interactions.
O Brasil segue os EUA
Brazil doesn't always follow the US when voice actors master Japanese they make a direct version of the anime, I've seen that Brazil follows Japan in cartoons, it really depends on the team, stop being know-it-alls and arrogant.
In india, actually it's both....Misae nohara/ Mitsy Nohara and Harry nohara/ Hiroshi nohara
Shino suke was mentioned also a couple of times I think?
Yep! I grew up so confused lol. And then I became a hardcore otaku, pronounced everYthing as it's pronounced in Japanese.
Just a clarification: Conan's anime full name in Brazil is Detetive Conan.
It was the same in the US don’t know why she said just Conan when it’s really detective Conan
@@NOMAD-_- It was called "Case Closed" for a time though
@@Syiepherze yes it was also called that
It is Detective Conan bruhh but people prefer to say "Case Closed"
For Crayon Shin-Chan, unlike Elita I actually know his mother’s name because I think aside from Shin-Chan himself Misae is the deuteragonist, or maybe even the protagonist because most things actually happen from her point of view 😂
Just like Elita i also dont know their name, i just figure it now, as i remember their neighboor called them “Ibunya Sinchan” or Sinchan’s Mom 😂
@@WawandiSurabayain Philippines dubbed Shin-chan calland his dad call her mom Carmen 😂
In the original manga misae, shin chan mom's actually the protagonist
Wow america change most of the names to weird ones and not suitable with the characters faces even the japanese girl was shocked 😂😂
Also im not sure if the amrican girl even knew half of these. She was just reading.
Jimmy Harry 😂😂😂
@@annyrhale4877This American girl does not represent us America as a whole. They should've gotten someone else who actually knows anime.
Interesting comparisons, love the diversity in anime names! 🌎🎬
Don't remember anyone calling him Jimmy Kudo. We, in India know him as Shinichi Kudo.
Yeah at least for me in America I use the Japanese version. Most people watch subtitles in shows. While jimmy is his name here it’s not common for those to use it since subtitles dosent say jimmy
well i watch it in subb so ik him as shinichi kudo but my friends calls him jimmy
So glad Shallin wasn't here to murder the pronunciation of Luffy's name
Wait!! Doesn't we say Shinichi kudo in India? Also i think we use Hiroshi nuhara as well for the name while harry is like nick name.
Naa ShinChan is ShinChan but for Harry they used Hiroshi nohara for formal meet-up (meeting in office/boss) but in some epi they called him harry
@@ShilpaWakhare I'm not taking about shinchan here 😭 it's about Jimmy
Yes, in India we don't say Jimmy kudo we say Shinichi kudo.. She is very clever😂 btw for saying smartly about detective Conan although she doesn't know very well abt this anime
I am sure she watched detective Conan in English 😅
@@Maijamthangmaijam400 true😂 half of the people don't even watch that
Pretty cure and Sailor moon and Pri Para is my favorite❤❤🇧🇷🇧🇷
About Shin-chan’s parents, in Spain we keep their names, Misae and Hiroshi, why the rest change it 😭 It was a very nice video, thank you ❤️❤️❤️
we dont call our parents by name in india so its mom and dad out of respect
Saki with this visual looks so mature that i even thought she was another person lol
But it actually suits with her too. She looks beautiful dressing cute and dressing mature
India used Shinichi Kudo too, idk when it turned into Jimmy Kudo.
She has never watched any anime😂😂😂she is a lying bit##
Yeah it was shinichi kudo
In my childhood I heard Shinichi kudo is the name (hindi version) on hungama channel.
I remember calling Japanese characters name first name first last name last that whenever I mentioned the character name to my friends about it, it was always in that sequence. Like Ranma was Ranma Saotome, not Saotome Ranma. But now I can't use that sequence with Japanese names anymore, especailly with Japanese kpop idols. So when I see, for example, Sakura from lesserafim's name fully written out as Sakura Miyawaki, I feel something is off, unless it's been written as Miyawaki Sakura.
Context on Jimmy Kudo (Detective Conan) being used in India: The name Jimmy Kudo was not used in any of the Indian dubs (Animax, Hangama, Disney XD and currently ETV Bal Bharat) they all used the original names.
The confusion of Jimmy being used is mainly because of the prevenance of piracy, so even though India never received the funimation dub, the English names stuck with English Dub watchers, but this has started to change with the release of the newer English dubs over the past few years and the newest Indian Dub in 12 different languages including English, Hindi, Tamil and more on ETV Bal Bharat which stick to the original names.
Yes ❤
It's Shinchi Kudo in India now ❤.
In Philippines Tagalog dubbed by famous Philippine rapper Andrew E .Shin-chan and his dad call her mom Carmen 😂
And almost of anime characters has same
Korean is just different
But sometimes we change here in pH
Indonesia has many names similar to those used in Latin America, I mean watching anime in Indonesia in terms of names would make me feel at home.
Finally someone who mentioned INUYASHA. This anime is so underrated.😍
Only underrated because it’s older, so not as many people watch it, and it barely added to Netflix and the ending wasn’t finished for years so many can see it now but it just looks too old for them.
Finalmente a japonesa não tá vestindo a roupa de uma pessoa de 2 metros de altura ☝️😸
I remember watching American-dub Crayon Shinchan and his parents was Mitsy and Hiro. His friends were Maso, Georgie, Penny, and Bo
GREAT JOB, JINWOO IS SO FANTASTIC AND CHARMING, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH MY BOY, GHOST9 ♡♡♡♡♡
My favourite anime will forever be Attack on Titan. It is the best anime ever made in anime history. I miss Eren and Attack on Titan so much. I still remember crying watching that last episode, I still feel like I might cry if I even think about AOT. What a journey.😭😭😭😭😭🫶🏼✨️
Okay, now back to watching this video.😅
I really like Shinichi Kudo and Conan, the detective Conan anime is very fun.😊❤
Yo... The English speaker was wrong when it came to Conan. When it came to the west it was called Case Closed; eventually referred to as Detective Conan. I think she watched it later on in life and so was introduced to it through the way Japanese people referred to it. On top of that the reason his name was Jimmy Kudo was because dubbing back then tried to make it easier for people to say it and because Jimmy was a common name in English. They kept the "last name" because it was easy to pronounce. Back then if the name in Japanese was easy for dubbing studios to say they would keep it and make a change on the first name mostly to make it easier for English audiences. Honestly it was dumb and that is just a few examples of how and what was changed when bringing anime to the USA between the 80's up to the mid 2000's. By then anime dubbing studios were progressing and getting better when it came to translations.
finally a video with shannon and ana together!!
Yukiii is here......
lots of love from India ❤
Inuyasha was huuuuge in America by the way. That was an adult swim staple
Animax was my to go channel growing up for anime before i discovered watching anime online
Detective Conan, I've never watched it, but I really like the music, Koi wa thrill, shock, suspense ^ . ^
Favorite Anime:
Older - InuYasha series
Newer - Sword Art Online series
So with Detective Conan aka Case Closed in the US, Ai Haibara’s American name is actually Vai Greythorn in the English Dub of the anime. Anita Hailey is her name in the manga.
Old anime (90-2000's) era many country do localization to match their culture soo naming, some animation, op and ed changed and renamed. Many countries import the right from or using American distributor soo no wonder many countries following American localization
Nowadays anime we import the right straight from japan and people generally accepted japan culture, soo there are little to no change nowadays
Ik that Pokemon Jigglypuff whenever she sings whole people sleeps suddenly after listening her singing when i use to watch Pokemon
Greetings from INDONESIAN,i like this content,"support full"👍❤️🇮🇩
Germany has the three legendary birds named "Lavados," "Zapdos" and "Arktos"

im from Indonesia and i should say she wrong about this one,
there are some episode where Nohara Misae and Nohara Hiroshi got called by fullname
and if you read the comic itself altough it already translated to Indonesia language you will see the name a lot
I am a brazilian! I really got happy to know that there was a brazilian on the channel!
I remember one episode where Shin chan got lost and the policeman asked him his mother's name and he goes what is Mitsy's name, and that's how I remember her name as well.
The Korean version of Kudo Shinichi, Nam Do-il, is named after the novelist Arthur Conan Doyle, just like Conan. Additionally, the "il" in Nam Do-il and the "ichi" in Kudo Shinichi both mean "one" in Korean and Japanese, respectively.
I also first watched inuyasha on animax 😊
And I really miss that channel 😢
purin???i just learnt that!its been jigglypuff my entire life
Faiyã japanese pronuciation for fire, the same happens with sandã = thunder and furizã= freeze
Watching this episode reminds me with my childhood back in early 2000, back then we dont have internet only TV, Sunday is a special day almost every tv channel in Indonesia aired cartoon/anime from 5 am to 12 am, 4 pm to 6/7 pm. Some of the Anime/cartoon is Sinchan, Doraemon, Chibi Maruko Chan, Inuyasha, Pokemon, Digimon, Sakura, Minky Momo, Conan, Hachi, Captain Tsubasa, Hamtaro, Dragon Ball, Ninja Hatori, Yu Gi Oh, Ranma 1/2, Samurai X and etc.
someday maybe you can try to pronunciate Anime signature move, (hissatsuwaza) from every country, it can be fun to know
🌍Wow, anime names really vary globally! 🤔
JINWOO💗
handsome! cute😢💗
I'm sure when i was kid Jigglypuff song actually purin japanese song and not the jigglypuff song, I'm Indonesian, Indonesian dub anime often use english name with japanese storyline and original japanese op and ed
Medabots we got en dub
Transformers galaxy we got en name but japanese plot and songs
Pokemon we mostly get the en version but for some pokemon we got japanese name somehow, for example we got sonansu instead of wobuffet
The Korean name for Shinichi Kudo, Nam Do-il, sounds kinda like the “-Nan Doyle” from Arthur Conan Doyle!
In Brazil is Zapdos, Articuno and Moltres. It's the same spelling as in english
Mas foi exatamente o que ela disse
@@GiovanniMyo Ela disse que a escrita é diferente, e não é
I love this show very much from india kerela
saki is so cute, whatever style she is in
Nama lengkap saki apa?
@@nurfadli7095 sakiponne_ ignya
For most of the Indians Doraemon and shinchan are emotions❤❤
ARTIC-UNO
ZAP-DOS
MOL-TRES
UNO DOS TRES means 1-2-3 DO U GET IT😂
In India Shinchan's mom is named "Mitsy" as well. Not Misty.
Pretty guardian sailor moon was my first anime
Inuyasha & one piece my favorite anime^^
omg jinwoo, you can tell u growing up a child without growing a child
pleek do a theme song episode since most countries have their own language theme songs
Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres it’s because of their endings: uno, dos, tres what means 1 2 3
In India 🇮🇳 its Shinichi Kudo (never ever Jimmy), Mitsy Nohara (also Misaye/Misti Nohara), and Hiroshi Nohala but also Harry Nohara. Its like general knowledge for every kids here but atleast she tried her best!
In Philippines we called it shinichi kudo
Well Pokemon name in Indonesia was Adaptation from English Name..
Only Human Character using Japanese Name (Kasumi, Takeshi, Haruka, Hikari, Iris, Serena), but Only Satoshi in Indonesia have 3 Version name.
Ash, Satoshi, and Ali..
For Shinchan We Use same as Japanese name but Switch.. Hiroshi Nohara, Misae Nohara, but for shinchan still Nohara Shinnosuke..
You miss explained in Indonesia Shank from one piece called Jeki. it's a meme here 🤣🤣🤣
Jigglypuff is Pummeluff in Germany (cause it's kinda chubby - from "pummelig")
Shouldve gotten a german for the older animes.
Man did we love Inyuasha and Detective Conan
I'm currently rewatch Inuyasha
3:50 They're not really fans, they had to fall asleep hahahaha!
In India it is also shinichi kudo not jimmy Kudo
8:28...he looks a bit like Lin Yi
I'm currently watching conan and every name is as original as Japanese one.. It breaks my heart that you are saying different names... Must have watched old... Please rewatch it
I every day watch Conan😊
Miss the chance for Ash Ketchum/Satoshi man, for older version i think the indonesian localized his name as Ali
Big fan of conan
❤
The American girl didnt know much about anime. She looked like she didnt know what was going on.
Jejak ae lah..,
Moltres = Fire = Faiya (Japanese pronunciation for Fire)
Zapdos = Lightning = Sanda (Japanese pronunciation of Thunder)
Articuno = Ice = Furiza (Japanese pronunciation of Freeze)
❤❤
In the Philippines we say
Shinichi Kudo for Conan Edogawa.
Ai Haibara for Haibara Ai.
Doraemon..
For Yu Yu Hakusho we say Ghost Fighter
I dunno, Pokemon Animation has unique way in Indonesia. We use English name for the Pokemon, but the character we use Japanese name. 😂
So it's like ... Satoshi & Froakie. Shitoron & Bunnelbee, etc. Kojiro, Musashi, and Meowth
Probably because the English naming scheme is the standard for all languages with the exception of Japanese and Chinese as far as I remember, so the dubbing uses the naming scheme that country received in the games.
I think it's because Bahasa is not a supported language in the games and stuff (yet), so they default to English for Pokémon names on the assumption that most people would play the games in English
@@Syiepherzebahasa? Bahasa = language . Maybe you mean Indonesian
I guess the US-lady is a great reminder not to judge a book by its cover - she looks like a typical model-type, never would have guessed she'd be an otaku
I think they should watch the Doraemon and shinchan song in Hindi, korean, japanese English and all
i clicked this video bcs "animation name" and i see my country, indonesia. then when i clicked, OMG MY BABY JINWOO!!!!!!!! 😍😍
Jinwoo si so funny 😅
JINWOOOOOOO OMG BABYYYY 💖
pretty sure it was shinichi kudou in indian version too
I never remembered I called Doraemon as Doremon when I was a kid until I watched this and I am Indonesian.
As a daily watcher and a big fan of detective Conan in India we say
Shinichi kudo or Kudo Shinichi...
Even we call Ai Haibara or Haibara Ai...
I don't why r they saying very differently
A maioria desses desenhos não são famosos no Brasil, acho que alguém passou uma cola pra Ana, eu não saberia nenhum nome, só conheço o Pokemon e o Dragon Ball.
In Thailand , Thai publishers who purchase the rights to produce and distribute manga will not change any names or specific words or meanings from the original. Even if the word is root words from Japanese or English if written from the original Japanese , we will pronounce like Japanese bc we respect the original work. It’s never change since 70s-80s from now on 🙇♂️
In india also we say shinichi kudu but she said it wring😢😢😢i am a fan
Ah that's why. I aksed my Indian colleagues to sing Doraemon's song and they say "Doremon" and i got confused a bit since in Indonesia we say Doraemon. Now I understand 🤣🤣
the legendary pokémons are articUNO zapDOS molTRES, like counting in spanish
Were they realize that Articuno = Artic (Arctic) + Uno (One), Zapdos = Zap (like electric zap) + Dos (Two), Moltres = Mol (fired glaze/glass) + Tres (Three)?
U surprise that Japanese can also speak Korean very well without any Japanese Accent at all 😂
Siapa nama perempuan itu bro?
