Only a person who plays snooker in real life can appreciate how he smashes that blue in carelessly and sets himself up with a natural angle on the pink😭
The day Ronnie beat snooker !
Yeah and did fans out of what they pay to see!!
Arrogant little twat!
@@R3RLEE they didnt pay to see Ronnie get a 147. They payed to watch two players play snooker. The 147 is a rare thing the fans might get when they go to watch a game but they never go to a game expecting a 147
@@jackbarnes48 Your contradicting yourself they go to see a performance from two players playing snooker every other player in the world would love to get a 147 in front of the fans but not osullivan as he thinks he's bigger than the game.... well he isnt, snooker will survive without this arrogant little shit!
@@R3RLEE this arrogant little shit is you i think
@@R3RLEE I'm sure they could all have just imagined him potting the black instead of that pink ... what's the real difference between a 146 and a 147? Not much in terms of actual play.
6:19, Commentator after he pots the pink: "this is the perverse side of Ronnie O'Sullivan".
This is one of the reasons why people will always remember Ronnie Osullivan. The wit of this legend
He is right to refuse it. If you want to see a 147, raise the price, Barry.
Knew exactly what he was doing right from the start, was smiling throughout and the other guy must have felt like Ronnie was playing with him. Cheeky git 🤣🤣🤣
I’m new to snooker I came from playing 8 ball but watching this is so satisfying 🤤
8ball's a kids game .. Snooker's 4 men! Lol
Absolutely no words to describe how good he is
ask your wife, she knows it
Its not about the money...
Its about sending a message.
(everything burns)
He's next level in his field - the best a generation has produced
“Well there’s still gonna be plenty of time left in the tournament for him to get a 147”….
I guess the commentators still didn’t understand what they just saw. 🤦♂️
Mr O'Sullivan did the right thing! They used to offer £147.000 for a maximum - £1000 a point. The WPBSA is taking the piss!
Ronnie is a TOP CLASS sport star! ⭐
He would be a billionaire in the world of football!
he had smile on his face the whole match ....goat rocket ronnie
The fine line between confidence and arrogance is called skill
Only legend ask the prize for the highest pot..O'Sullivan is the king of snooker
I've seen Michael van Gerwen refuse a nine-darter.
I dont think anybody realises how much mental strength that took to purposefully refuse the 147 and make a 146. Truly unbelievable!!
Ronnie said in interviews he doesn't care about records
@@Cenot4ph But he set one with this 146.
Absolute class. If B.Hearn paid out more money than Ronnie could give more to charity. Therefore B.Hearn is the arrogant so and so IMO
hes proly worried osullivan will start knockin in 147 after 147 and bankrupting them LOL
You can't blame ronnie for this. A 147 is the ultimate snooker break and the players used to get 147 thousand for each one. 7 grand is an insult
In the game against Mark King he was 8 points up before he asked about the prize money, not before he potted a ball...
It may be Arrogance or it may be confidence, but one things for sure...He knows how to pot a ball...Yes he does things in a unique way and maybe not to everyones liking...The fact he's just that good, he can actually just choose what break he wants to make very early on...146 breaks are also actually quite rare, which i think he stated in an after match interview.
What a horrible commentary, he was taking a stand for snooker players and snooker sport really, yet they say "the peverse side", like he was doing something wrong.
Davi Mourão he was doing something wrong some
players may never make a maximum it’s just arrogance and disrespect
@@joshuajackson8926 He doesn't have to lower his standards so as not to offend players that aren't as good
What are you talking about? He was acting like a spoilt brat. Only the top players can score a maximum, and they get paid plenty. He wasn't 'taking a stand'. He ought to grow up and start being more respectful to the referees too.
@@williambunter3311 If this is disrespectful to you then you should grow up.
@@kaksspl And thank you for proving my point! It is you that needs to grow up!.
Remember the proverb: ab squallam terentis, Forne sequium faris prolontus veritas. Omni erra peroboscis largotum esse!
Meditate on these words, they will make a better man of you!.
Agree with Ronnie here. You only get a tenth of what you used to get for a maximum, it was a great way to protest against that.
I was also on for a 147, but when I found out there wasn't any prize money, I settled for a break of 1.
Speed, character, accuracy, gentleman, champion. Perfection is achievable as proven by the great Ronnie O
This is all true...apart from "gentleman"
@@paulstevens9409 in Essex, he is haha
@@paulstevens9409 Ronnie O'Sullivan is a beautiful illustration of the truism that genius and madness go hand in hand. I like him, he is the greatest snooker player of all time. But his behavior is sometimes already borderline. At the same time, this is also what defines his genius. Like I said, I like him.
I don’t believe we will see his like ever again in snooker not in my lifetime anyway.
Judd Trump is happening. If he can play at the level he's at for the next decade, Ronnie's status as the greatest is under serious threat.
@@ongbonga9025 did you forget about Ronnies 5 minute maximum (televised) ?;) Judd ain't competing with that mate .
@@shemingway549 Probably not, but we don't decide who's the greatest by who can do the fastest maximum. It's about titles. I don't think Judd will catch Ronnie, but he might.
@@ongbonga9025 we all have our opinions, however, judds B game has never touched Ronnies! For that reason I wouldn't see him as a contender to be par/above Ronnie, no way!
@@shemingway549 Not consistently, but when he's at the top of his game he's the equal of Ronnie. The difference is Ronnie has been at that level for a long time, Judd hasn't. But Judd still has time.
A nice middle finger to the snooker establishment! You can’t beat a good bit of controversy!
Why are people not talking about that blue at the end 🙈 the bloke is seriously something else what an absolute pleasure to watch
kinda reminds me of when i scored 11 down my local club......
That's way more than I've ever scored hints why I'm a fan not a player. 😂
He should set a record for the most 146's that would be some statement to his legacy
3:04 jesus what a shot that was
Ronnie rocks, we love you Ronnie! ✨💨🔆💨🥇
Did he do the 146 to challenge others a chance at 147? The confidence on this guy is unreal 😂
You know you have conquered your sport when your fellow opponents struggle to make 147s and you out right just refuse to make one coz you cant be bothered 😂. If you want him to make 147s then pay the man what he deserves. Ronnie is a 1 of 1 player will never be another like him.
An argument can be made to say it backfired. This deliberate 146 is getting more attention than those 147s combined.
Who’s here in 2024 after todays win!!!
You're just a freakin genius Ronnie. Love Respect and more from India 😊
This is the most first world problem thing I’ve ever seen
No, you complaining about this act on a free entertainment medium from your climate controlled dwelling on your high speed internet is the most first world problem I have seen.
I do think he should’ve made the 147 and give the money to charity if he didn’t want it, but it’s up to him what he does, it shouldn’t be controversial.
I absolutely love this! Arrogance or confidence?? Both I say 👍🏻
6:27 that little giggle from the ref😂😂
Absolutely brilliant
Only Ronnie can create an opportunity to do what he has done in this frame. Very few players get to the stage of making a maximum let alone protesting. The point is made on behalf of others as well.
Bruh! Once in a generation player, Damn. 🔥👌
The Michael Jordan of snooker
The Muhammad Ali of Snooker :) 2020 over here!!
Good for Ronnie !!! He is the best by a country mile. Such an exciting player
Heath Ledger: “If you're good at something, never do it for free.”
@Hasen tanveer, Ronnie is the one who pulled me into snooker. I do watch Stephen Hendry matches. More stable than Ronnie(Ronnie can be more fun.) Ronnie speaks very highly of Stephen Hendry so I took second look.
That is 2 fingers up to Hearn lol
Ronnie O Sullivan is different class even than the best of the rest Stephen Hendry.
There's no one like him.
I can’t tell you how good that insanely easy break shot was!
The best break ever, played by the best player ever.
What a talent. Incredible.
A very big number of players on the planet are dominated by the table, Rocketman are dominating it ,and no one does it like him, and no one ever has or will do !! Today he is 42 and he probably play the most flawless snooker we have ever seen him play. And he is such a great guy aswell, big big heart there!! That's how you can do if you are unique. Ronnie O Sullivan a living legend...Cheers mate.....
