I did, with f1 TV you can hear everything they say, if you are in their onboard. He basically said that they did a good job, but that he could have been 9th if he would not have done the mistake behind magnussen.

Sums it up pretty well. I think Croft got it right, Vettel caught Alonso napping a bit.
Alonso lost it but caught it. If there was no contact, I believe he could just keep slowing down and go straight off track then rejoin, but since him and Vettel touched, it pushes him to a spin instead.
I’m not saying Alonso is not at fault because he really did lose it first, but I can also see why he blamed Vettel.

Anon Nyymi Alonso had almost an entire car width between vettel and the beginning of the kerb, vettel left that same distance in spa but with two cars on the inside on the first lap first corner, which obviously didn’t work, but he left plenty of room and the height of the kerb is what upset Alonso’s grip and made him spin, wasn’t vettels fault, you’ve obviously never raced anything and haven’t watched much formula 1, vettel didn’t cut down too far just like bottas didn’t, look at kimi in Spain when he hit bottas, kimi turned too far inside then blamed Bottas, but better gave plenty of room

More Leclerc! Getting to Q3 for sauber should have warranted a video of his lap and more of him featured in the race highlights. despite losing 2 places it was a fantastic achievement for him as a rookie and for sauber.

JJ4824 Wouldn't call Verstappen's race anything special. Cuts the corner after turn 1 while Räikkönen takes the road while losing positions to others cutting. Räikkönen had to fight for the position, Verstappen didn't, same as Hamilton didn't have to. Both lucky to escape the start mayhem while Räikkönen worked for it.
LethalWalou he still ran a good race and never lost sight of hamilton. If it wasn't for vcs on lap 51 he would've finished about 3 or 4 seconds behind.
LethalWalou verstappen didn't gain a position in the process either. He was on the outside going into turn one and he had no other choice but to do that

Gianpaolo Martini I think you're ignoring the fact that McLaren IS a mid-field team. Some tracks suit the car and some don't. It's not like the other top three teams. When the track doesn't suit the car, they only lose tenths. However, if you're on a team which is on a "mid-field" status those tenths can go up to seconds....

The fact is that other teams are improving except McLaren.... for example, during the pre-season tests Sauber was the slowest car now is constantly in the points. McLaren is the only car which hasn't improved throughout the season....
Gianpaolo Martini They couldn't qualify good bc there was a valid excuse. They couldn't find the problem in the wind tunnel. As a result they're gonna (atleast try to) fix it by looking at it's on-track performance. Every team has a good chassis except McLaren. Toro Rosso were already planning to get Honda for 2018. But McLaren made a quick change. The design of the chassis wasn't accurate enough and wasn't supporting the engine. They're gonna start improving once they find the problem with the aero of the car.
Wouldn't it be awesome if one of the drivers not in the top 3 teams (Sainz, Gasly, Hulkenberg,Perez or maybe even Leclerc) would pull of a surprise win. I mean I know at this current trend in F1 its highly unlikely...but just imagine it. Damn it would be one long emotional team radio.
