How to offline Install Firmware 10.0.4 & AMS 0.12.0 on Nintendo Switch - ChoiDujourNX Tutorial

However, its completely your choice as the method can also be applied for clean FW and CFW installation. Please read below the required tools to use this update on your switch.
Requirements:-

I had atmosphere 0.12.0 on fw 10.0.0 and i accidentaly updated to 10.0.2 and my atmosphere stoped working, i had to reinstall using emmucc wich made a partition on my sd and took like 20gb of storage out of my sd card, my atmosphere boots now but i have less storage t.t your webpage si the only one switch brew related it’s really good, thanks!

Hi, very good video, but I have a question, what's the difference between the update made in sysMMC and emuMMC? Consoles starts with emuMMC and I have all the games there.
Very good video, i was successfully able to update the firmware, however ive seemed to notice how i cant navigate in homebrew using the normal d-pad like how i used to ? Its really making the nsps and using checkpoint very difficult, checkpoint doesnt even work with touch. What could be the issue ?
I will try to do this. But I didn't understand the 'hekate' file part. Before than opening switch you talk about it. You say about hekate file in payload file. But before than it, you copy only sd file in sdsetup file to sd card. So do we have to copy also payload file in sdsetup file to sd card?

I installed the TegraRCM driver and still nothing. It still shows I need to install it and that its undetected.
Can I use the switch to install the Homebrew App Store and go online? Or should I stay offline?
And do I have to turn off the switch on the PC after each switch-off and use Hekate to start the nintendo in CFW?

I am so sorry I need your help. So I followed your youtube video above and on 11:15 when you install the latest firmware 10.0.4 I got an error message. You know when you are on ChoiDujourNX and you hit start installation. So I did this on my CFW - SyMMC and I got an error message. Now when I try to access my EmuMMC my screen goes blank. It doesn't start up anymore. My SyMMC still works fine. But now my EmuMMC doesn't work and I don't know what to do anymore. I feel really lost. I know your busy, but any help would be very much appreciated. I can't access my EmuMMC which makes me nervous.
Woooeee I fixed it! My dumb self, I had the old version of hekate. I just updated to the latest version of hekate and now my EmuMMC is working fine again.
Even better I got my EmuMMC updated to 10.0.4 thanks to your CZcams video.

but says
Failed to apply 'nosigchk
Failed to launch HOS issue
and does not let me launch the games
or install new games
such as hyrule warriors
invalid NCA might mean missing sigpatches or a too low firm4518

After I Get the payload from sdsetup. Should you put the payload on the NS Atmosphere Payload Injector or Something else
The hakate 5.2.1 inside payload of SD Setup folder its your choice if you wanna write it on NS Atmosphere injector or manually send it via PC.

Help! I have updated my atmosphere to ams M.19.4|s however my current firmware version is 9.2.0. I cannot run ChoidujourNX. always crashing.
Follow these steps.
1. Format SD Card
2. Factory Reset Switch Without SD Card
3. Connect Switch to the Internet do not enter eShop details.
4. Update officially to 12.1.0
That's it.

Can you tell me how to use The NS- Atmosphere Payloads Injector and how to put the payload on to the Device. I have the same one as Yours
Install Tegra RCM from above description link. Put your console in RCM mode, Attach it with PC, and Inject payload Hakate 5.2.1.bin which is inside SD Setup > Payloads folder.

thanks for video. i install new firmware with prevent fuse burning and now i cant turn on switch in normal but i can with atmosphere. how to back normal mode? factory reset?
If you turn off the RCM mode your fuses will be burned and you wont be able to downgrade however your Switch will work without Atmosphere.
Just turn off autoRCM so that u an boot normally. Turning autoRCM on while upgrading is to prevent burning of fuse but after doing so you can turn autoRCM off

Did the Nintendo Switch prompted you to update whenever you tried to open a game or app? I thought when having a banned console the internet services were forbidden at all.
@@evann9302 Oh that's a harsh measurement from Nintendo, I had the same issue before replying to you message and I panicked a bit, it's a pain to update the firmware and then hope the Customer Firmware update will work as well. Thanks for your response, I decided to cut off the wifi for the Nintendo Switch in the meantime.

@@GritzNGr4vY not for me, I ended allowing the uptade prompted by Nintendo (mandatory while having the switch on wifi) and as well I updated the custom firmware, so far no issues, everything is good.

I am sorry i forgot to add that step. Its pretty simple. Install the TegraRCM put your console in RCM mode and attach it with PC. Send the payload file hakate 5.2.1 inside the SD setup payload folder to your switch.

Great tutorial, but after having followed it I can now no longer load any of my games, either installed or on the cart. I've updated the latest sigpatches for atmosphere but can't figure out what it is I've done wrong here. Anyone able to help before I resort to restoring my backup?
I have the issue @MatchesMalone. I load up my switch try and play a game and a load icon appears before a screen pops up saying "Use of online activity is currently restricted by nintendo." or something like that. When I ever I hop into Tinfoil and try to download a game it says "Failed to download Ticket"

@@giovanklooster1238 I'm on airplane mode, have been since I started. Surely loading the games wouldn't require access to the Nintendo servers? I've had no problems loading games before, for the last year.

@@dyamizamor9632 How were you installing your NSPs? I found that the issue was using "Awooinstaller" instead of Goldleaf, as Awoo should've supported NSZs as well.
It seems likely from your issue (which sounds different to mine), that you're not actually booting into CFW, but into OFW. Is that issue coming up with single player games also?

Yes. In ChoidojurNX you have option to go with 10.0.4 or 10.0.4 (exFAT). The one with only 10.0.4 is the FAT 32 version.

after doing this, i clicked reboot, and when i launched through hekate, it says an error has occured in the atmosphere error screen. I restarted the console, to no avail, as I continue to get this error mssage, any help?
EDIT: I can launch the switch normally, without rcm, and when i do so, it says i'm using the system version 10.0.4, so I think it is an issue with atmosphere? On the error screen it said I had atmosphere v0.13.0 and hekate is v5.3.0
