Fascinating, jo came back from 2 sets to love down and won against roger a month later in wimby. What a sport indeed.

French open is the most unluckiest slam for players....you can be the best in the world on clay then there’s Nadal

To see the big 3 dominate on 3 different slams I don’t think there will ever be an era like this. Let’s all stop saying who’s what and who’s that and appreciate these 3 until they give up their racket. But to say the least what rafa has done at the French open will never be repeated and he is a history on his own. His understanding of the game on clay is something we can all learn from and hopefully he’s got 3-4 more frenchies in him.

At the end of the day the better player won, Stan the beast just woke up on time to show Jo who’s his daddy. I followed their career and realized that Jo had to pay for his arrogant attitude, for how he underestimated Stan and was disrespectful, ungraceful upon defeated. It’s a hard price for him as he now almost ends his career prematurely and have nothing to compare with Stan’s achievement. It could be different though, but that’s how it was, a great lesson for anyone: humbleness, hard work and dedication helped to bring Stan further than any of these losers.
