- Brock Lesnar finally returned to WWE in 2012. But his run in the company had a rocky start. He lost to John Cena at Extreme Rules. He had those disappointing matches with Triple H and it wasn't until he ended the streak that everything changed. In this video, I cover Brock Lesnar's first few years in WWE. From the Extreme Rules match against John Cena to the debut of Suplex City at SummerSlam 2014. If you enjoyed this video then make sure you like, share and subscribe!

I didn't know what to title the thumbnail and I just decided on that. Personally, Lesnar's booking felt weird looking back. They didn't know whether or not to just go all in with him. But after the streak ended, We knew Lesnar was gonna be booked like a beast. What did you think of this run?
Feel like him being booked like a beast actually started at summerslam 2013 with his match against cm punk. Also honestly thought he should have beat John Cena at extreme rules 2012 because it honestly it didn’t make sense. John Cena survived Brock Lesnar but took one ko punch by the big show to lose to John laurinaitis.
They wanted to humble Lesnar. Like "You're not in UFC anymore".
WrestlingsPremier lol
Wait didn't brock leanser went up aganist triple h in a 2002 show in Australia
Rated R Superstar yeah he did
I will never forget that brawl between Cena and Lesnar. That shit was crazy.
People really thought WWE was going TV 14 😂
@@karlitosway7474 I was one of those guys lol
i was only like 10 year old when that happened it felt legit
The Best vs The Beast was one of his best match before his Suplex laziness
Facts
Vs Styles Bryan Balor Mysterio.....there's four
Bastien Clo Baylor Bryan and styles was some of best matches after thought. He literally said before. Pretty much after the whole suplexcity thing he got real lazy. Most of the matches became the same
“Suplex Laziness” LMAO
Yes and Brock took Punk more seriously and actually sold his moves
One of the most loudest pops I’ve ever heard😳
Ayyy bruh I’ve seen u on ams LOL
@Name is None of your business. He changed my whole perspective on life💯

Still can’t believe they put cena over in lesnars first feud back😂
That shit pissed me off lol
Marc Spera deadass vince is just petty as shit sometimes. making brock beat punk’s title reign record bc of punk’s rough exit is jus mixing business with personal agenda and no wrestling fan will take that brock title reign seriously
Are you guys stupid? He had feud with Cena because the fact is if Brock haven't left, he'll be the Face of WWE instead of Cena. The match is very important for WWE no matter who wins or lose.
That maybe because lesnar defeated cena 3 times before cena became a main eventer
Having Brock lose on his first night back after pummeling Cena the entire match made as much sense as Sting losing to Triple H at Wrestlemania 31
In this period Lesnar vs Batista should have heppend at least in 2014. And it should have been the best Russles Agreshion match ever
*ruthless aggresion
feel like that match woulda been sloppy because Batista’s matches in 2014 were just fine
@@KidChampionshipWrestling both had shit matches in 2014.
@@Itayarav technically no brock had spaush matchs beside his one with taker
Bastia had classic with the sheild byran
@@edgeisthegoat Batista lost almost every match. I remember that he had only 2 wins, 1 over the Royal Rumble 2014 30 men and second is over Seth Rollins in episode of SD.

Brock Lesnar first run was kinda bad in my opinion until he had that match with CM Punk at Summerslam 2013.
I wanted CM Punk to win that match
The comeback and the match against Cena were massive, but once he lost that match, it took a major programme like that against Punk to get people excited for him again. The feud against Triple H almost buried his legitimacy just cause he was made to look bad in the final two matches. But the storytelling in the Cena match alone...damn, I really disliked Super Cena at the time but they did it so well that by the end of Extreme Rules, before I realized what it did to Lesnar, I was actually rooting for Cena cause I was finally able to buy into a face vs heel story again. Should've realized at that moment just what potential WWE had on their hand with Lesnar again
Brock Lesnar best run had to be from 2014 to 2020 because he is the most hated wrestler today because of how his work ethic is he is a lazy part timer more lazy than John Cena since he wins the title and doesn’t defend the belt until he wants too
His matches with Cena and HHH in 2012 were way better
@@grandcanyon-fu9zt no they weren’t
That summerslam 2013 was one of the best ppv of the last decade

Lmfao @4:44 the sign says "Im only booing Cena because I dont want my tires slashed" 😭😭😭
The first time HHH was seen with short hair was actually before this during the Slammys when he accepted the Slammy for the End of An Era Match.
Completely forgot about this one. Thanks for mentioning it.
@@wrestlingspremier Np bro👍

The brock and cena 2012 rivalry holds a special place in my heart as a wrestling fan since that was the first thing i saw when i stated watching wrestling with my cousin the raw after mania 2012 and that's how i became a wrestling fan
Oof you missed out on a lot. You missed out on Jeff hardy 08-09 on smackdown
Yeah but after that i started watching classic ppvs and moments from the attitude era from 1997 till rigth now 2020
You missed out on the 2000s it depends on your age
@@yeslinvelez6572 so were u a cena or lesnar fan?
@@haaniakbar5455 cena fan yes and brock too
I remember watching the RAW after WrestleMania 28 live on television when it happened.
When Brock's music hit, and he came out, my jaw dropped to the floor.
It was also awesome hearing Brock's music hit and seeing the F-5 again.
From his loss to Cena at Extreme Rules 2012 to the ending of the Streak, his mystique was wearing off.
Even when he did end the Streak or brutally beating up Big Show at Royal Rumble 2014 or beating Mark Henry up or destroying 3MB or the New Age Outlaws, I didn't think nothing of it (other than shock).
It had to take Lesnar facing CM Punk at SummerSlam 2013 & squashing Cena at SummerSlam 2014 for me to take him seriously.
Brock Lesnar doesn’t need you to take him seriously lmaooo he would kill you with his bear hands
@@theitfactorjameswheezer2852
*cool story bro*
2014 was Brocks best year beating the Streak and defeating the Undertaker at WrestleMania then squashing John Cena and winning the WWE title at SummerSlam
Recall night of champions when cena again squashed Lesnar
And winning him by disqualification
@@user-qd5kv6yl1o Retard you don't even know what squash means.
Brock has never been "just a guy". He's always been a serious force
We need a “day the attitude era started” video
Like for his to see
@@minutemaidsceo234 he already did
taylor powell prolly Austin's speech imo
Undisputed Productions ㋛ or the screw job/Austin winning the title
@@ArtseyHayton06 when did he make the attitude era video?
I never wanted the streak to end but I think looking back, Brock was the ideal guy at the time to end it. I still consider the Taker vs Reigns match 3 years later a massive disappointment and waste.
And if we're gonna talk about the best Lesnar moments of this time, I need to mention the promo in the build-up to SummerSlam 2014 when he vowed to leave Cena in a pile of his own blood, urine and vomit. We had "blood, urine, vomit, repeat" posted all over wrestling videos at the time, it was damn hilarious
He should have never lost that match against John Cena at Extreme Rules 2012, he should've been mauling through Superstars right up until him ending the streak. It would have made Seth beating him at WM even more of a moment
@@unlimitedayoproduction2452 no it wasn’t cuz the dude broke CM Punk’s title reign despite only showing up every 2 months which was ridiculous
I disagree, people were complaining of his part timing in 2018 ,and him having his way in 2012 would've been bad booking and people would have still complained.
He had me til he said Reigns should’ve been the one to end the streak
Same here, could you have imagined 😂😂
13:39 that mini scream got me😂😂😂.
Also That gregory helms video is a must.
A smackdown 6 video would be cool
A Matt Hardy V1 is needed plz💓
Also for the second channel plz play HCTP
I remember when I was 17 Brock Lesnar returned and him and Cena had that brawl, that shit was insane
I never understood why fans don’t understand why Brock Lesnar lost his first match back to John Cena. There was obviously still some animosity towards Brock because of the way he left WWE in 2004, so there was no way Vince was going to have Brock go over his top star in his first match back.
great content brotha💯
Awesome Video The Other Day Man!!🙌🙌😎🐐🐐🐐
I love Brock Lesnar they just give him to many titles
I remember when the rumors swirled in 2012 about brock’s return. I was in denial bc I remembered hearing & reading the bad terms that lesnar left on. Then that music hit on the night after mania 28. Still feel like Brock should’ve won his return match. Let Brock be the dominant super heel & win the title eventually but not let him jump the shark with the suplex city gimmick. Only wrestling at the big four ppvs wrestling big names while giving the world title & his challengers more legitimacy
The best raw after wrestlemania return
I remember when Triple H came back with short hair
This was the last time we could’ve had the animal vs the beast Batista Vs Brock
I don’t if you saw but I suggest this video topic on your last vid. I appreciate the fact that you listened
For the Wrestlemania 30 match you gotta keep in mind Taker wasn't just "spent", the man was concussed since accidentally landing on the back of his head outside the ring not very long into the match. He wouldn't even remember the match let alone anything since earlier the afternoon of that day.
When lesnar came back it was the austin level pop and that too in the pg era
Bonus fact about me: Summer slam 2014 was the first ppv I'd watch fully through the show
I can't be the only one who thought Lesnar vs Cena at SummerSlam 2014 was boring as hell. It should've ended after the first F5.
That match wasn't that good.
That Curtis Axel video would be really cool
This video made me feel nostalgic
My guy 🔥
Cena vs brock is like superman vs doomsday
The Greatest Return of All-Time after a Wrestlemania 🐐🐐🐐
Imagine being this early to a wp video
My excitement with wwe went from 0 to a 100 real quick when Brock returned. Sure we had Austin and the Rock return the year before but this was special too because of his success is UFC and him reigniting his feud with Cena took me back to 2003.
I like Lesnar because he’s honest about his intentions. He’s in WWE purely for the money but there are obvious examples that show that he cares and enjoys what he does. It’s obvious when Lesnar enjoys/doesn’t enjoy working with his opponents.
You should do cena vs roman next, it was short but very memorable
When Lesnar still good at promo now he had Paul Heyman
Fans: “Lesnar didn’t need to break the streak. He was already a beast.”
WrestlingsPremier:
Hey I know you probably have other video ideas but maybe you do an NXT rivalry. I would suggest Tomaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano or Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn
This period of Lesnar was.....bizarre and awesome......in one hand, his loses to Cena and HHH make no freaking sense, it was again WWE bad booking all over the place, I hated that so much, but then, he feud with Punk.....and to this day probably my favorite singles Lesnar match ever, from that point on WWE redeem themselves with the way they killed Lesnar momentum when he debuted......when Lesnar was to face Taker, I was like everyone else.....welp Taker will win LOL.....and then that match happen, and to this day, I still cant believe it actually happen, 21-1 Lesnar won, I was shock.......and then that squash match with Cena....Lesnar becomes literally the DOOMSDAY of the WWE.
Justin Roberts be like...

I would like an entire series for brock lesnars career
I see quite a few people saying they only took Lesnar seriously when he had matches with CM Punk and the 2014 John Cena squash.
*THAT* is "intelligence" insulting.
Dude I'm always hype when you upload I know it's gonna be a banger
Brock in 2012 was better than the later years.. He talked more & he put on believable matches
He would whoop romans ass too brock (2012) put his sorry ass in midcars

Brock is the most dangerous athlete you will ever face and it is fact there is a reason why he is called The Beast
Ur soo right about hbk or hhh ending streak it would be much better. I still remember when lesnar beat him i was never soo shocked watching tv
WWE World Heavyweight Championship.... I always called it the Undisputed WWE Championship until the Big Gold Belt was retired for good after SummerSlam 2014 and the Big Logo Belt remained and received the new WWE logo update.
Extreme rules 2012 is one of my favorite wwe ppv
First like always
Ur the best
First. What is up guys wrestling premier is here!!
Taker was concussed during that match with lesnar at wrestlemania 30
Everyone complains about Lesnar being a 2-move-using part-timer yet PPV revenues and ratings seem to go up whenever he's on the card 🤔🤔🤔.
I liked Lesnar coming back cuz I didn't watch during his first run but knew about him from ufc and the games
Do the rest of his run up until now
It's Crazy to think that the best in ring match of Brock Lesnar's career was around this time. Man CM Punk vs Brock Lesnar was CINEMA . Those 2 COOKED
You should do the triple h and roman reigns feud
My fav run Lesnar and the Brock party thing
Summerslam 2013 was literally the end of "Super Cena" as a whole. After a year or two of dominance, the jacked fruit loop of justice ate s**t in frightening fashion.
you should have mentioned that hhh pissed himself when he returned with the short hair lol look it up
John Cena vs Brock Lesnar matches are something to remember 💯
a third f5 connected on the subscribe button, the streak is sover

Can you a video on Sheamus world title run 2012
Can you do why Ted DiBiase Jr and Cody Rhodes did it become Main eventors
CAN YOU DO PART 2
i had no idea who brock was at first when he came back but after what happed when cena smacked him i knew then
13:51 One of the best memes in WWE history
2007 would have been the best time for lesnar to return he would still be young asf and wwe would have been the shit with Brock and it was the funnest time in wwe with all these new creatures and legends like boogeyman, Khali, Bobby Lashley, Hornswogle, and more. Brock would have just been the icing on the cake
Wrestlingspremier can you do when hurricane's transformation to Gregory helms?
People are still shocked that brock beat taker at wrestlemania, true story, when Brock came back after wrestlemania and F5 cena I distinctly telling myself that if Brock faced undertaker then it's over, streak done so when Brock won I wasn't surprised just disappointed that wwe went down this road
Make a undertaker vs brock lesnars feud video
Hey Brock is crazy
@Wrestling Premiere,. The REAL question should be, what happened to Brock's HCTP muscles that he had in 2002-2004?
I need a Brock Lesner first run as WWE Universal Champion
Luved this start should've never lost too Cena and HHH ,,
as a long time lesnar fan i was so happy when he destroyed cena and that kid chanting "let's go cena" was hilarious
Well we did got lesnar vs triple h but it was in a triple threat match with rock back in rebellion 2002 (if I'm correct) were rock won and afterwards both attacked lesnar..........
Triple h did the people's elbow........
Global Warning*
18:39 they’re gave him a different belt?
1:13 how convenient, he returned on 4/20
Hahaha
How is that convenient? Lesnar has nothing to do with 4/20 lol
April 2 not April 20th
Lol you're wrong HHH first appearance with short hair was at the slammy awards 2012 not February 2013
Honestly Wyatt should have done it especially because in November they were going to get sting then he could have faced cena then styles then retired after loosing to Wyatt
?
The Rock vs Rikishi Feud
I have a question, to be honest who would win in a match between Brock Lesnar and Triple H when they both are at the absolute peak of their prime? I'm curious.
Lesnar. Any day.
I am not being a Lesnar hater or a Cena hater but back in 2014 where they had they match at summerslam it was boring to me. because the challenger does same move over and over again and the champion dosen't get any offense.
They didn’t want cena to have two losses in a row
Taker was CONCUSSED....
Bruuuuuooock LESSSNAAAR
Love the video but I disagree with Roman reigns statement. He should have never been the one to break the steak. It only should have been bray Wyatt. Bray loses to taker in wrestlemania. Then comes back as the fiend and defeats taker next wrestlemania passing of torch from one phenom to another. No one else should have ever broken the streak.
It didn't really matter to me. But if there was someone who should've broken the streak. It should be a full time star, Roman, Bray, etc.
Brock looks so much bigger now than he did back then.
Nope. 2018-2020 Brock is much smaller than 2013-2016 Brock
