Head to a hut in West Elizabeth, to the east of Pronghorn Ranch. On the in-game map, the hut is right next to the writing that says "Vetter's Echo. That's where the pipe is.
Horses are very very important in this game. Mine died falling of a cliff in the middle of nowhere. So I had to waste 2 hours catching a good horse, bringing it back to the dead horse and getting the sadle on it (It was night and had no revivers)
Sky, when you see a white dot on the map or a question mark, you should go there cuz it might disappear if you progressed too far. look out for smoke as well cuz they're also point of interests.

Legendary pelts can be sold to the trapper. Looks like a paw print on the map.
Yeah. I was so bummed by that. Like she even read that after hunting the bear. She could've made $60 but lost it because she just couldn't scroll a little to the right to see the trapper icon.

Edit: you can lasso horses on your horse, chase them down, lasso and real in to mount and tame

One big non-spoiler tip is slow down. There's a ton of great, important dialogue that's easy to miss if you rush, on horseback or otherwise. Love the content!
Welp... that was the shortest celebration of Sean's return I've ever seen. Too bad because it's a lot of fun when you spend some time talking and singing and drinking with the gang when there's a celebration.

Loving the playthrough Sky, but maaaan it's a real shame that you skipped Sean's homecoming party. Those are the moments where you really get to know the characters and genuinely connect with them. I stayed up till dawn, drank, ate, danced with Mary Beth, and just listened to stories. It's one of the most memorable scenes from the game for me.
You'll have plenty of opportunities to have great experiences later, but be wary that this isn't like most other games - these moments are entirely missable and if you're not *looking,* you could lose a lot of the story. My advice would be to experience everything you can experience. Looking forward to the next video!
If you are interested in learning more about the characters and their relationships, visit the camp more often, there are a lot of scenes and dialogues. The party was one of them, unfortunately you overslept it.
You got the Dead Eye thing! You just need to press RT/Shoot once you're done painting markers - and Arthur will shoot all of them.
Also don't worry about your Legendary bear pelt; you can still access it at the Trapper (there are only 1 of each of the Legendary animals in the whole game, so the game kinda lets you off easy with those, you can't really "lose" them). You can find the Trapper at several locations around the map, one of them is near Strawberry, on top of the hill near the post-office where the train stops. If you can't find him, just progress with the story for now and he'll pop up.
Like many people said this game is designed to be played kinda slow...if you rushed from point A to point B in a mission, you cut so much dialogue... other tip for not missing content is doing the white missions first and then proceed with the yellow ones, once these are done new white ones will appear...of course you can play however you want...this is your playthrough.
You can take a bath at the hotel. However, a much faster way to clean him up is to select a different outfit, or even the same outfit you're wearing, from your horse or clothing locker. Arthur and his clothes will instantly be clean.
The party night wasn’t over , you had a chance to dance with mary beth and a shawn mischief after that 😂
Dutch scolded you because you’re out there causing chaos and he’s concerned it’s gonna follow you back to the camp lol.
Also, when you’re out, pay close attention to your mini map. Those white areas with question marks are little side missions and also keep an eye out for smoke stacks. They’re camps.
Lastly, you can play through the whole game with low honor if you choose. When I first started playing. I barely played the story and just grand theft autoed it driving my bounties up in a bunch of counties. Your honor level actually plays a big part in how the story goes.
Just throw fish back and greet as many people as you can and boom...you're a good person once again
What’s with folk complaining about the lack of hat? Brothers just let the lady choose what to dress Arthur in. It’s not that deep, this is only pt 3, there’s clearly enough time to wear hats. Definitely check out the rest of Arthur’s outfits and/or buy our man some clothes anytime you get money. you can make Arthur look like a real gentleman, bounty hunting nobody or straight up serial killer! Love your videos!
There's a big, strong, and FREE horse that comes with excellent speed and acceleration called "Thoroughbred" waiting for you to collect at the Valentine stable. I think you missed it during Hosea's bear-hunting mission because there was no dollar amount attached to it. It's a free gift from buying the Ultimate edition of RDR2.
Don't worry about missing this or other random/stranger missions or even making silly mistakes. We all went through this same experience in our first playthrough because there's A LOT of info to digest. Watching you play reminds me of my noobie mistakes when I first played it lol. Enjoy your new free ride, cowpoke!
Hey, make sure you look at your map, Skyy. A lot of things pop up on there that can be missable, besides just side events (which you should absolutely check out too). For instance, 1:24:41 your horse reacts because something spooked it. More than likely, there was a snake you rode past that you couldn't see in the grass. Your horse is your friend (or is just looking out for itself) and will always warn you of nearby wildlife danger.
Try to Spend lots of time to camp! This camp is alive as much as real one. So many lines, stories that paint the gang members more and more as you progress. R* did something that is still unmatched in terms of AI and storytelling!
I'm not sure if my favorite part of this is Sky's second rocky wipeout, Sky almost heading right back to Blackwater, or Sky's Southern accent coming through more and more as the game goes on.
You should have gone for the "Thoroughbred". It was the fourth option in the Stable. It was free and far better than the other options.
I was laughing so hard seeing her ride out on that with the thoroughbred left behind 😂... gutted she sold the shire tho, lucky I kept mine

@@xnoexe Not yet, but it's still early in the game for her and she hasn't even been to that area of the map yet. A lot of people find it if they explore enough though.

Who the hell told her honor matters? I spent the first 6 chapters being the meanest sob in the west. Only to give a few ppl a break on their debts and end up at 75% percent honor from 0% in not even one chapter.
it only matters near the end of the game because of whatever is supposed to happen in the story line. you can choose to have two different game endings based on your honour before the epilogue
people are freaking out over nothing because you can increase the honour, pay all the bounties before the 6th chapter starts.
Some customization tips. If you want to wear your hat again, its stored on the horse just look the the weapon wheel when you are on the horse. And you can get a haircut and shave at the salloon in Valentine among some other places. The barber has a scissors icon. Also I would recommend taking your time with the game, since there is so much to do and to explore. The ammount of detail in the game is insane.

You're slowly getting the hang of things 😃 Though you seem to be in a constant hurry and ride like a maniac 😄 Slow down, take a breath, explore along the way... you pass by a abandoned building or whatever, go have a look and a loot and often Arthur will draw something in his journal like the oil derrick you passed 😃I'm glad you stopped to help Albert Mason, the photographer... he'll pop back up on the map in a couple in-game-days 😃
Also, at the stables you kinda overlooked the horse the game gets you for free even though you read the hint the game gave you out loud a few seconds earlier 😃 Same with the trapper.. you read the hint out loud after you killed the bear.. the whole time I thought.. where is she going with that pelt 😄Also, Hosea taught you that you can grill your own dinner and sleep at you own campire in the wild so you don't have to return to camp to sleep. Don't donate all your food to Pearson, Arthur can grill and eat it himself. You don't want him to get underweight, do you? 😃You also already have some outfits at Arthurs tent so you can change out of that dirty shirt he's wearing 😄
You also get some free weapons at the gunshop in town because you have the Ultimate Edition 😃You can bathe at the Hotel 😃 If you help people, you often get rewards... stop for the prisoner that wants you to shoot his shackles.. he'll give you something as well 😃
Shame you cut the camp party so short...it's a hoot.. you can dance and drink and sing some more dirty songs and bond with your gang😃

You can bathe at the hotels in towns. You can also get Arthur different haircuts at the barbers in town. His hat is always available in the items tab as well.
* Spoiler Free Tips*
Map is all open to you now. You may want to slow down when going from place to place. There are a lot of interesting things off the main paths. These things are very beneficial to you. White blip dots that pop up on your map are people who need help. The big white clouds with ? Are stranger missions. These things are optional but are worth taking the time to do them. Take your time to explore. People in the camp will be in bad moods until you upgrade the camp ... medicine, food, ammo are important upgrades. Have fun. This game is truly a masterpiece, especially when playing for the first time!!
Have you watching later episodes? does it get better in that regard of slowing down and being observant for stuff going on in the game world?
The Legendary animal pelts can only be sold at "Trappers".
There's only a few on the map so it's pretty hard to find at the beginning of the game lol.
If you do lose the pelt, it still counts as stored at the trapper and can be used to craft special clothing and such. The only thing you'd miss out on is the money you'd get from selling it

Unfortunately, the game overwrites your temporary horse each time you bond with a new horse..so sorry to say, but Turbo is gone when you bonded with the orange tailed Morgan :/
And even tho you bonded with the buttermilk saddler, you didn’t hitch it, it still counted the Morgan you bought at the stable as your temporary so idk, I could be wrong but check. If the saddler is gone, that’s probably why. You didn’t hitch and or sell the morgan

This game is a slow burn but God damn one of the best stories and characters on gaming 🤠
Love to see a first playthrough that chases all the wild horses around early game. Buttermilk saddler sure is one pretty horse. Slender build with long legs. Looking forward for more episodes!
Keep an Eye on the mini map by the railroad tracks outside of Valentine, there’s an interesting story there if you care to look for it
When you enter dead eye mode tap 'RB' to mark enemys, once you mark them, press RT arthur will shoot on the marked enemies. You will be able to take out enemies instantly.
As someone else also wrote. Chase and lasso wild horses while on horseback is easier. And you can loot dead ones but just be carefull that it´s no witness.
Don’t forget to press R2 after painting the red x’s in dead eye
Practice how you navigate the weapon/item/horse wheel as often. It’s very helpful because you will need to select items on the fly. Also a great way to bond with your horse is to lead the horse. Walk with it and you will see your bond indicator go up.
Really enjoyed the Part! Please feel free to explore the World as much as you want and dont feel rushed at all. The open World of this game has very much to offer. :)
For a bath, go to any town's hotel and you can get a room for the night.
Love the play through so glad to see your enjoying the game. One piece of advice I would give is to do side missions when they become available they will go away if you progress too far. And a lot of the side missions add so much to the story and understanding Arthur himself.

Great video, can be kinda daunting jumping into the game with little help/tips. Keep an eye on your mini map, interact with all question marks, white dots or random people that talk to you. (The prisoners for example, might not pop up again idk.) The game uses visual+audio cues to hint that there's something for you to check out instead of just giving a list of objectives. Finally, noticed you've got a hunting mission with Charles in camp (end of video.) Always do these missions as they disappear pretty quickly with no warning. Take your time, enjoy the experience. You'll 100% wish you could rewind time and experience the game for the first time again

I find the lack of Arthur's hat greatly disturbing.
Legends tells that Sky kept that pelt for a carpet.
Some things you can do to raise honor:
1. Greeting three separate strangers once each will raise your honor a little. Just greet all people you see in towns like Valentine to raise your honor.
2. You can do chores in camp (denoted by black dots on the minimap). You can also donate money or items to the notebook behind Dutch's tent and it should also raise honor.
3. Sometimes, when traveling, you may notice some gray dots on the minimap. These are random events and people may sometimes ask for help. If you help them, it will raise your honor.
Also, I think you weren't able to notice the Thoroughbred option when you were buying a horse in the stable. It can only be sold at that stable to those with a special/ultimate edition of the game (normally, there are only three options). It's free of charge and one of the best horses you can get in the early part of the game.

You CAN loot enemies without losing honor. It’s looting civilians and innocent people that cause you to lose honor.

Also for legendary animal pelts you have to give it to a trapper and you sell it to the trapper for money

I would make sure and do those asap, since they can dissapear after a while and not come back
RDR2 is best enjoyed taking your time. No need to rush the story but some bits of info will help you click with the game faster.
Things i noticed on this playthrough..
The trapper is found on the map with the paw icon and only he buys legendary pelts.
You are also limited to 1 main horse and 1 temporary horse active at a time but you can leave up to 3 horses at stables. When you bond with a new horse, your current temporary horse will disappear.

Man it was when i got around to chapter/act 3 of this game that i realised i was so hooked into it emotionally and started getting this attachment to some characters. This game made me happy and sad and rethink my whole life LOL
You should let Arthur wear his hat, he'll get sunburnt to buggery otherwise. The weapon wheel is the answer to all your questions.
If you treat your horse like a real horse, that is, feed it regularly, brush it, praise it, it's health and stamina will be better. Same for Arthur, feed him, keep his weight in the right zone, keep him warm or cool, keep him clean, let him sleep, his health/stamina/deadeye cores will grow and be maintained. Finally, pay attention to what the game tells you, when it told you to take the legendary bear pelt to the Trapper you skipped over it.

The legendary pelts need to be sold at the trapper. After selling it to him you can craft a lot of things. You can check your map for locations of the trapper.

Don't donate all your meat to swanson. Cook it and save it for eating. Nothing restores your health and stamina core like meat in this game.
Those little physics glitches and stuff are on everything, you haven’t experienced anything that’s a problem on just PC, just so you know. It’s the best version of the game hands down. I’ve had several versions of it.

Sky, there is a white horse (one of the best horses in the game) that you can find on the northern edge of Lake Isabella, that is in the north-western Grizzlies.
Also remember that saddles and stirrups increases different stats for your horse and how much they drain and how fast they refill, etc.

Next to the camp donation box is a book that allows you to upgrade your camp for the greyed out ones
Just a few tips that you've most probably already been given, but I'll give them anyway just incase...
1) You should try to do a bit of hunting every few days, especially for big game as that will help Pearson make a better stew back at camp. (Improve the stew even more by giving him herbs aswell).
2) Hunting also comes in handy for giving you a quick meal when you're out & about. You can set up your little mini camp & cook a bunch of food & then just save it on you for eating as & when needed.
3) If hunting is all too much for you then you can usually get yourself a good meal in the local saloon in most towns.
4) Most towns will have somewhere you can stay for the night (To refill cores) and will have somewhere you can take a bath to get cleaned up. (It'll usually be in a hotel or saloon).
5) Some towns will have a barber in them where you can get better hair styles for both face & head. (In Valentine check the saloon on the main street).
6) Visit Gunsmiths quite often & get all your weapons cleaned (They lose damage & such the dirtier they get).
7) The trapper & the Fence are people to visit with Legendary Animal parts (One can make you clothes, the other trinkets... You can also sell most looted items at a Fence - Who you haven't unlocked yet but you shall before too long).
Enjoying the playthrough, please take your time with it, you might think that people will find it boring if you're off exploring or hunting or doing anything besides main missions, but please trust me RDR2 has a large fanbase who enjoy watching people experience everything this game has to offer!
