      @@princemwamba5230 Texas Southern was. I come from a Grambling family and Texas Southern's band director had the original sheets and helped produce the song with Cameo from what I heard.

    I wonder if anyone in Dublin had a clue about the significance of the song. Its roots. What it means. Why it's played by bands. Most LSU fans have no clue. I seriously doubt anyone in Ireland knew what was going on. Just some kids playing a catchy tune, I guess.

    Les not get it twisted...the Uncle Tom black band director from j st stole not only this but a lot of things from HBCU'S,and tried to incorporate that into lsu....As usual the White's at lsu reminded him that he was still a ninja and let him walk....
