Can you tutor me - I am not currently taking students, but I have a rockstar tutor team. I trained them, they teach my program, and they all scored 1500+ on the SAT. Highly recommend them!
How long have you been teaching - Since 2007 (please try not to do the math on my age😉)
What do you score on the SAT - I superscore a 1570 (770 English, 800 Math)
Do you teach both English and Math - Yes!
Why do you decide to teach - I was working in leverage acquisition (finance) in New York City and lost my job in 2008 (economy crash). I moved to South Florida to start over and fell into test prep. I realized it was my calling and have been doing it ever since!

Let's do well on our SATs !!
1. Majority Rules on Apostrophes: When guessing, choose the answer that matches the majority of options.
2. Punctuation Trick: If a question has a period and a semicolon, eliminate both as they function the same way.
3. Transition Trick: Eliminate transition options that function the same way or are from the same category.
4. Start at Question 15 in English: Begin with easier questions to save time for the harder ones.
5. Use Process of Elimination: Focus on eliminating wrong answers rather than finding the right one.
6. Use Desmos for Math: Use Desmos, especially for complex algebraic problems.
7. Semicolon Rule: If there's a semicolon in the sentence, choose the answer with a semicolon.
8. Pronoun Trick for Subject-Verb Agreement: Identify the verb that doesn't match the others in terms of singular/plural.
9. Ask for Extra Scrap Paper: Request extra scrap paper to write down your work, especially for math.
10. Don't Study Too Much the Night Before: Get a good night's sleep before the test to ensure you're mentally prepared.
i would be very happy with anything above 1400 but i got a 1550 on my last practice test so i hope i can do that again!

I worked with your strategy for starting with the grammar section, but it didn’t work out for me. In fact it got me worse. Is it okay to use the formal strategy? I personally can’t read well in pressure specially the last 5 minutes. So I tried to finish reading first and do the grammar as fast as possible.
