Panic!!! I didn't get this question while I just recently attempted my June SAT 3 days ago!!! So that means this one is a Amth section Module 2 question, So maybe I didn't do good on my 1st Module? idk, but I'm panicking now!!!

The way I looked at this, without recalling the remainder theorem: f(x) is divided by x-4 and the remainder is 8. That means f(x) = z * (x-4) + 8 for some value of z The only way to get an output without knowing z is for (x-4) to be 0 so x=4, and f(x)= z * 0 + 8 = 8

I did not get the question but what a cheeky way to test the remainder theorem!😂😂... Never even seen these types of questions on the practice tests

Hi I took sat today ..is it possible for question to be wrong on official exam because on the first module I had a question(x=4 y=x^2(square)+5 Question was what is yint of solution?(the answer choices were like 16,21…)I did it by hand and on desmos but no point of intersection there (maybe I got tired and can not see something I have to see …)it really bothers me how the question is simple but I could not solve it
