I went to a game where Matt Morris had a no hitter deep at Wrigley and Jim Edmonds being scared of the brick wall cost him the no hitter and the Cubs eventually came back to win.
Also a game where he threw at Derrek Lee’s head and benches clear which Mark Prior was also starting.
All these names but Edmonds were answers haha.

Michael Brantley is my favorite player of all time. Ryan using him as his example of MVP candidates that won't be remembered in a decade or two hurt me. Because I know he's right.
of the 4 names i didnt get, he was one of them amongst Sheffield, Lee, and Molina. i guess you can say Brantley was forgettable, but also as good as Gary Sheffield and Yadier Molina

I got 100% on the MVP one, but I spent forever trying to get the 08 Red Sox. I guessed almost every other position player on that team and 4 pitchers before I got it.
I got all but 5 on the Cy Young one. I drew a blank on Severino, Iwakuma, Schmidt, Rodriguez, and Wang, but did proudly get both Lowe and Morris.
I played a ton of MVP Baseball 2004 growing up, and whenever I did a fantasy draft, I always tried to get Derek Lowe as one of my starters. Dude had a crazy sinkerball in that game.

Couldn’t remember his name, but had Matt Morris in my head. Watching tons of NL central ball growing up and remember Chris Carpenter coming in to STL from TOR and kinda taking over the ace role from the guy who just finished top in Cy Young.

As a 2000s Dodgers fan, I loved the Chad Billingsley attempt for Cy Young. The JM guys being this young and pulling Billingsley and Brad Penny is absurd level of baseball knowledge

For future reference, you can "group answers with same hint" into two columns which allows the answers to fall under each specific season instead of one straight column. It makes the quizzes look crisper and it's easier on the eyes.

Rick Porcello doesn't even crack the top 20 worst CY winners. There was some incredibly stupid voting in the past, with a huge focus on pitcher wins and the '80s weird obsession with closers. Porcello and Verlander had very similar numbers. Verlander probably should have won, but it was a fairly close race. I will continue to never understand why people think that vote was anywhere near the worst in history. Probably just because Verlander is a Hall of Famer and Porcello was basically a career scrub, but those reputations are irrelevant to that specific season.
Matt kemp should have won from the get go but ryan braun cheated. of course its K-rod since he broke the single season saves record
