i tried the brennaman quiz again today for the first time in a few months and managed to get every single word. i've never been more proud of myself as there's a drive into deep left field by castellanos, it will be a home run. and so that will make it a 4-0 ballgame.

I just laughed when I did the Brennaman thing. I ranked at the 57th percentile but still, I just enjoyed that quiz, especially the Castellanos part. I pride myself and think of myself as a man of faith as theres a drive into deep left field by Castellanos and that will be a home run. And so that will make it a 4-0 ballgame. Sorry for spoilers.

Somewhat. We have all said things that aren’t pc in the private but that stuff stays private for a reason. That said, his slur basically just revealed a deep seated homophobia and his apology was terrible. There’s really no way he could’ve stayed after that.

It hurts me that I know and very vividly remember the Anthony Rendón game referenced in the four barrels quiz, I will never get that game out of my mind as a Mets fan. Dude went 6-for-6 with 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 5 runs scored in a 23-5 game.

Quick question for you - what are your thoughts on the Atlanta Braves name/branding, and if it should/shouldn't be changed?
I say change it all. Ever since Chief Wahoo, the Guardians, and the Washington Football Team, the chop and the name "Braves" is clearly next in the crosshairs. I don't care what the team is named or what's done at the ballpark, I root for the players on the field. If there's anyone out there hurt by it, change it, because I really really don't care. It will have no effect on my experience as a fan, but it will on others.
@@FoolishBailey Thanks for responding, and great to hear. There's a lot of proposals out there - I personally like Firebirds but I've also heard Hammers, keeping the name but reappropriating it towards first responders, and even Eagles.

Liam for most people is a shortened version of my name William. I go by Willie personally but you are right about Liam being a short nickname for William being more popular in the UK. Such as actor Liam Neeson's full name being William. But then again its become common just to name people Liam as well, such as with actor Liam Hemsworth. And both guys being from the Commonwealth nations, Neeson being Northern Ireland and Hemsworth from Australia. Another is musician Liam Gallagher of the band Oasis whose real name is William and he is from England. The one that makes less sense to me is the Spanish version of William which is Guillermo, one of my uncles had a room mate 25 years ago when I was a kid that had the name and thats when I learned it was the Spanish version of my name, but they sound nothing alike to me, lol. Jimmy Kimmel's sidekick is a famous example of that name.
