As a parent, you never want to see your kid being ignored by the other kids. What’s so heartbreaking is that sweet goofy girl doesn’t even notice! Luckily she has parents that know how special she is and make up a game that gets the other dogs involved. Cool dog. Cool parents.
You said just what I was going to post! I am not a parent but I imagine it would be hard to have a child that other kids ignored. That is just how I felt about this dog. I am so glad that the parents know she is so special.
That's not heartbreaking, it's heartwarming that that sweet dog doesn't let it turn her nasty.

I love how mum and dad just happen to be in there doing everything they can to ensure Maddie gets included with the play. They are just the best parents and Maddie gorgeous!

Everybody likes the underdog, especially when they have as much joy as Maddie exhibits. She's my kind of doggo.
Reminds me of my Wirehaired Pointador. He was rescued from a puppy mill and was poorly socialised, so he doesn't pick up on other dog's signals well, whether good or bad. He keeps trying though, with a big smile on his face, and for the dogs that really don't want to play, he learned to trust my judgment and listen when I call him away. I've never seen him turn away from a friendly dog, so I'm sure he'd love to play with Maddie.
Our pup has also had issues at the park. He's gotten better and just really loves being with other dogs.
We have 1 like that also. She seems to be seriously ADHD, and means well, but can be somewhat overwhelming in her obsessive attention. We are careful to give her calming treats before we go to the dog park. It helps to run some of her Australian Shepherd energy off, before we let her off-leash. I wish she could run & play with the happy-girl in this video, feels like they would be perfect playmates together. Good job by her "parents" here, understanding their girl.

What a Beautiful dog Maddie is. She reminds me of my best dog friend Hudson in NYC! I walk Hudson, he's a black Labrador Retriever and runs sooo fast, frolics, jumps and finds huge tree branches to try and take home 😁 He wants to make friends, but his energy is so full throttle that most dogs cant keep up with him. Hudson & Maddie are two of a kind in my eyes 💖

You're absolutely right, you can't help but smile! My neighbor has a dog that's sort of like her, he seems always perpetually happy, and after being around him for awhile you can tell he's a little bit of a special dog, just like yours.

When I first saw how this precious pup was being shunned, my heart broke. All I could think was how this wonderful pup must be heartbroken. Then I saw how this amazing dog rose above rejection. She didn't even acknowledge the doggy slight and just had fun with anyone who chose to run / play with her.

Aw, she is very cute. The same thing happens with kids, sometimes parents need to facilitate play or certain situations to help their kids make good friends. I love these attentive, loving puppy parents.

That is the goofiest ball of fluff that I have ever seen and I love her! I had a Staffordshire terrier that was alway the outcast whenever I would take her to the dogpark and it always broke my heart to watch her follow other dogs to try and get them to play with her. But soon she (and I) learned that she didnt have to play with all the dogs, all she needed to do was find just one and she did from then on, every time.
