I am certainly an Eva purist and love most of all her genius alone with her guitar. It is in those treasured moments that her light shines it’s brightest. However I do find this project to be at the very least interesting and at most a special treasure. It speaks volumes about her unmatched gift that the brilliant London Symphony would choose to take on this endeavor. If her family is rewarded with financial gain by this that will be wonderful. I choose to embrace this project and hope for the best. Hopefully they just add to her greatness and do not alter it. I hope it’s awesome. 🎺
I agree. The guy even pretends like she didn't die of cancer about 10 years ago. A person not knowing anything about her would think this is a great new artist still performing... Ok, adding an orchestra gently backing her performances to honour her is not a bad idea. But completely remake it like this and if I hear it well they isolated her vocals (and added lots of digital effects to it, probably even auto tune) from her playing guitar and BLEW an orchestra through it. I'm sorry but to me that's like digging up her grave and see what we can still can use and take out what we can use (abuse) from her soul to make more money out of her, cause we couldn't make enough money out of her because she died. I'm no longer subscribed to this channel from now. And certainly won't buy this.
I could listen to hear non-stop for days. I have been in love with her singing for years. I used to fall asleep listening to her sing my favorite songs like Autumn Leaves, I know you by heart, Fields of Gold, and Over the Rainbow! ❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹🎉
Eva is all about the emotions she puts into her singing and guitar playing. An orchestra will spoil the intimacy that many listeners feel and love so very much.
Eva's dream was to one day have her singing with a full orchestra behind her. This is a gift to HER. Yes her voice is phenomenal by itself, or with just her guitar, but this is something different and also amazing. She is smiling down on everyone! Enjoy the new interpretations with all your heart, mind, and soul. The original recordings will ALWAYS be there for you too.

Mostly eclipsed by her voice, her guitar styling was equally as genius. But there's not a singer wouldn't love being accompanied by a magnificent orchestra. Sounds an honourable tribute.

And I just discovered Eva and her music for the first time last night. Maybe just a coincidence, but I think God introduced me to her music yesterday to help my family through a difficult time.💔

I also lost my very best friend, he had just finished orientation for a new job he was about to start and died at his car. 53, sudden heart attack. I listen to Eva's song "I know you by heart" to comfort my soul, thinking of my Bud. Perhaps that song might comfort you as well. I couldn’t agree more. For me, an orchestra added on is unneeded and a distraction from what I really want to hear - Eva’s amazing voice and guitar.
