Hi there! Greetings from Brazil! I'm doubting about the possibility of leveling my Cardistry skills. I've been watching videos and practicing. Everything's ok until know but... I suffered an accident as a child and as a result I don't have the right index finger. Do you guys think that it is possible to go on like this? Should I try some adaptation or should I just give up?

Rafael Antunes Cardoso I can’t speak for cardistry (I’m a magician who has learned a bit to make some tricks & patter look better) but, I know some musicians & a couple magicians who have become masters of their discipline with hand problems like yours. I personally know a bass player who can absolutely shred & he is missing his entire right hand.
It’ll take more work from you than what others might have to put in, but, you can forge your own path with enough creativity & dedication.

I find the pivots quite difficult as the cards are slippery and it’s also cold here in uk, so my fingers have no moisture these days. Is it fair to say that a humid climate helps? Or is there something I’m doing wrong?

It does help but hand moisturizers help too!
