Love your videos Forrest and your amazing research. I love geography and Google Earth, whenever there's a major news story I have to go on Google Earth and find the location of the incident. I did that the day of Wood's crash and went to street view just like you. Although the news stories gave the intersection, it was farther down the road and I had to find the exact location by watching the backgrounds of where the reporters were. Also, many reports falsely claimed he went over and down an embankment which was very confusing as the site doesn't have a drop off or embankment, but a sloped road.

He can drive a ball smaller than his hands but can't drive a vehicle. Its not the first time for tiger. Needs to give up driving.
The way you described the accident was similar to one I experienced some years ago when I was driving on the highway and this car came flying off the side entrance to the highway, almost hit me, I skidded to the right on time and the car flew across the high way to the other side. The driver had fallen asleep after working 24 hours and get this- had no insurance. She got out of the car because the car landed right side up and she did not have any injuries.. My car's left fender was damaged in the front of my car because she hit a pole that flew off. I was quick by skidding to the right and the pole ended up hitting the left fender. You gave a detailed account of how the Tigers car came to rest in that area and it makes sense to me that he probably fell asleep. Than you for the presentation

always get the uninsured motorist coverage with your insurance policy, not just liability. an easy half the people on the road don't have insurance. If one hits you , you can at least get your car fixed, and have some medical coverage for injuries too.
@@chrisperrien7055 My insurance company paid for my fender damage, although they said they will pursue the other person, I doubt it because it was not worth the trouble. I had no medical injuries

This was really interesting to see as I though from the photos I saw in the news that he had gone off a cliff or embankment and rolled the vehicle down it. It seems crazy that he simply lost control on a bend and just shows how speed is such a major factor in accidents. Amazing that he was not injured worse than he was.

He was about 2 meters from striking the double telephone polls. That would have killed him.
Tiger , needs to kick the prescription substance abuse to cope with his mental and physical pain or he needs to hire a full time driver.
This was definitely dangerous and impaired driving to fall asleep and put her into the bush 200 yds away from his side of the road at this time of the morning.

Well he is going to need pain-killers now, for a while, so that is kinda iffy. maybe he'll learn something from it , though.

5 back surgeries my chiropractor was right for years telling don't do surgury. I just cope with the pain. Surgery might relieve the pain for awhile but then it comes back.

Nice video, I street viewed this as soon as I saw the story, was interesting that quite a few news agencies gave conflicting images / maps and birds eye views of the wrong section of the road to where it happened.
Yep, Google Earthed it soon after. This helped nail it down. And it's true, this citizen journalism is way better than any news coverage I saw. Corporate news is either biased on stuff and won't cover it, or they just suck at it.

I've driven this a thousand times. When I was young, of course, I'd speed. But even going 60 in my crummy old car, I wasnt in danger of crossing the median. He had to have been unconscious or asleep. Even if he was going 80 and texting, hitting that median and the sign would have had him breaking like crazy. I'm local: this covered the scene well.
I was looking on google maps right after the accident. I couldn't find it and said "I'll wait for Forrest." Thanks!
