I was suprised at that lower H.P. on that BC Cumins .. .That must be the standard size, but can be increased if need be.
To see him talk about turning the same ground his father had bought and even his 90 year old grandfather , a love of the family roots run deeply .
By far this is one of your greatest ride along while talking about family and the want to keep farming in the blood. Thank you so much..I would like a revisit to this farm later.

The 9170 is pre buddy seat days but it is fairly roomy.

Always love old tractors....especially cuz old tractors like 9170 are great way to buy a 4wd tractor without spending big money of new ones with similar HP

I grew up in south west Louisiana farming rice. We had case 770, 970, 1070, and 1370 agri kings.
Awesome Case line up.
That cab was really cutting edge when Steiger brought it out!
It was definitely ahead of its time in 1982.

I have the same, it replaced a Steiger ST 325.
I used to drive 1468 international pulling John dere TW disk.
That’s awesome. That is a tractor I would like to film at work in the field. The ones that I come across are all on display and completely restored at Tractor shows.
I don’t know how I’d deal with CVT on a tractor speaking of power shift. I remember when tractors started coming out with power shift shift on the fly, really nice. Showing my age.
The same model when exist Yugoslavia,like IMT 5500. Cheers. 🍻

The inference is that he started the tractor and immediately put it under load. You don't do that.
Yes it had been running all day. I just clipped the video together from all the time I filmed in the field.

I drove a new 1468 and 856 in Marion south Carolina on Mr Lance Williams farm International are some good pulling tractor.
Very cool. The 1468 is a hotrod tractor that is very collectible today. The 856 is a solid tractor built to last a life time.
