Emelie Forsberg Achieving the Fastest Known Time on Kungsleden Trail | Salomon TV

- In 2018, Emelie Forsberg went back to her homeland to attempt a Fastest Known Time (FKT) in the Kungsleden Trail, a hiking trail in the Swedish Lapland that boasts spectacular wilderness and is usually crossed by hikers in no less than 15 days. She completed the 450km trail in 4 days and 21 hours, beating the current FKT, held since 2017.

Finally a running film about joy, passion and happiness. Recently everything is just so dramatised and 100% of the focus of every single film is suffering, crying, getting up, going through, with music from the Lord of the rings.

After 17 days i completed the Kungsleden, and understand your love for this beautiful country. The energy you have for sure comes from your open mind. I watched this 2 years ago when working in Sweden, I am from Australia. I remember it was on of the videos that encouraged me to long distance hike the trail. I miss Sweden since I came back but I was just on work holiday visa.
Absolutely loved watching this. Emelie has an infectious positive energy. This is why we named our baby daughter after her.

I have total respect for her! I just finished kungsleden in 15 days with 23kg pack and I had some sick days. Regardless of weight or a smooth hike. I couldn’t imagine doing this under 10 days!

she said that thinking about the next kilometer made her even more tired and it's true, now when I run I think about the present moment and focus on the steps and it's much more pleasant and it seems shorter!
Sometimes running is less about the distance but more about enjoying the moment. 🏃

Congratulations for the incredible performance. As a young man 35 years ago, I also hiked Kungsleden twice and needed 3 weeks for each and was very proud of it. That's why I appreciate this achievement. At that time, I would have thought her incredible.

CZcams decided I needed to watch another Kungsleden video. And they were right. I walked Kvikkjokk to Abisko in 13 days the autumn of 2017 so I'm more than impressed at somebody running the same distance in 2 days!

At the end it said that she carried all supplies with her. In backpack she probably had clothes since there was at least 3 different pants plus shirts, jackets etc.
But where did she got all the food in the evening and snacks for the days? Do they have restaurants in mountain huts?
