    Bianchi Arcadex Gravel bike. Is it worth the money?
    I finally got the chance to see Bianchi's new gravel race bike in person. It is an interesting bike to say the least.

    Own an Arcadex. It's a beast. Bought it because it was the ONLY XL frame size of any reasonably affordable Gravelbike in the whole area where I live. And because it's a Bianchi. And because I could pick it up a week later. (Giant: "a Revolt 0 XL sir? 2023.")
    Sure it's polarizing. The huge fork, the enormous tubes and the strange port, it looks strange. BUT: Once you ride it: it just goes. Some reviewers say this thing is too stiff. And it's stiff. It's so stiff that there is litteraly NO flex, so with 55 mm of space in the chainstays its easy to go past the 47 mm STATED tire clearence. The ONLY thing holding it back is its weight, 9.8k in XL size. But again, a good set of wheels, ditching the tubes and replacing the seattube and handlebar with carbon components will bring it more in line with other Gravelbikes.
    And: it has a full GRX groupset WITH a 1 x GRX chainring. I couldn't find a single affordable bike with a complete (!) GRX groupset in the area where I live (Netherlands). LBS: "Need a spare GRX Chainring sir? 2023".
    I'm happy with it. it's Killer.

    Got this last year, used it on gravel (a lot) trough during winter, and for last 3 months been using it with 50 mm carbon road wheels, stiff, fast and a very comfortable ride😊. Love it as much on the road as on gravel!❤

    I really like the design of this bike. very different and interesting. their counterparts all look alike and look very boring

    I have this bike for over 3 months and love it… it is different and that is what I like, perfect geometry and relaxed:..

    But if this bike, without Di2 obviously, cost Uber £2000?
    I found a deal of the XS size for 1800 and I cannot find components and full carbon like that on this price range.
    I’ve got a bianchi infinito now which I want to keep only for summer, hence I’m looking for a gravel bike, and maybe this is a good option ?

    Hey Mossie I ride XC What are the differences for a fr. tire 2.25 vs 2.35 ??

    • @MossieRidesBikes
      @MossieRidesBikes  Před 2 lety +1

      I prefer a 2.35 on the front for sure. I ran 2.25s forever but the bigger width helps with cornering in my case. I am able to push through the turns just a bit more

    It is very weird looking, especially the round black cap thing in the bottom bracket...no way it compares to scott addict gravel or wilier's gravel lines if u wana keep it italian...it's just a fail i think

      Have you ever ridden one? If not, looks can be desceiving. So don't judge it on just the YT video.

    The Giant Revolt is wayyy better looking. No offence to those who enjoy the look of the Bianchi. It's just personal preference :)

    • @MossieRidesBikes
      @MossieRidesBikes  Před 2 lety +2

      I completely agree. The only bike that I like (as far as looks go) better than the revolt is Allied's gravel bike but I haven't been able to see one of those up close

    • @jarylyip
      @jarylyip Před 2 lety

      @@MossieRidesBikes Just took a look at Allied's gravel bike online, pretty cool looking bike with that uniquely shaped chain stay. Still though, there's something about Giant's clean lines on the Revolt, as well as that dropped seat stays that make me find all other gravel bikes less appealing.

    So you _ think_ a bike looks bad and then it’s terrible?
