@@merin9298 eh its been a long time since i watched that movie...but one thing is that its appreciable how she learned bharatanatyam for that movie...vineeth was good though since he's already trained. her performance was forgettable, but i wouldn't say it wad hilarious. she is a good actress in my opinion. only problem i had was with her casting, because tamil cinema has a very big problem of casting younger actresses with actors who grow older and older. give it a few years they'll probably start pairing rajinikanth with samantha. an actual trained dancer like revathi could have done a much better job.

If that's obsession then what do you call about people being crazy for sharukh Hrithik and salman etc. As far as I know Kerala actors behave well off screen with no much hype unlike the other actors & actress in other states. This is also a stereotypes you set. I found that it gets natural for people from north to always comment anything bad or sarcastic about the south. thats sad as we south Indians Dont differentiate people but try to understand them.you people know very little about south India and start being judgemental. I just commented what I've observed here in kochi and yes 2 of my class mates were obsessed with Nivin Pauly and some with Dilquer salman( which was really sweet btw 😊) and whenever a new movie of Nivin Pauly will get released my whole class used to plan to go to theater for it even my father loves mohanlas's movies and being a north Indian i am obsessed with Allu Arjun ...i didn't comment anything bad about malyalis or Malyali actors because i love them all .. Being a fan of any Actor/Actress is not a bad thing ...i love malyalis and their helpful and sweet nature . You have set this in your mind that ' all the North Indians comments or thinks bad about South Indians ' thats why you took my positive comment in negative way but its not your fault , its actually true that most of the North Indians arent aware of the beautiful culture , food , tradition , manners , values and many more wonderful things South Indians have .... I am fortunate enough to spend 5 years of my life on ' God's own country- kerala ' and I'll never forget any of my experiences and memories of this beautiful state .
Next month I am going transfer to vishakhapatnam ( A.P) and i am excited to explore and experience another culture and tradition but Kerala will always have a sweet spot in my heart ❤

If you are talking about the way "North" is pronounced, every person in the world speaks English with the accent of their mother tongues. People from countries like France and Russia also have them. So why can't people from South India have. As if people from the North don't have it at all.

However the common term 'Madrasi' denoting a territory with all the 4 language people residing within still persists to this day in the minds of other Indians. The term is not used in the sense, as it is been made out, to assign someone an identity that seeks to limit him/her to the city of Madras (now known as Chennai). Hence no need to take this usage derogatory or offensive.
