I have the red/white 92 LE as well (5.2 with 8.25 rear end). Very similar paint degradation. Too bad about that dashboard. Mine needs a regulator on the passenger side and of course all new window felt. Otherwise it's still running great with 121,000 miles. Had it since 2004 and it's been fantastic! Put a camper on it and used it as a ski bum vehicle for a few years. It pulled that camper full of beer, gear and people up the pass easily. Ended up rebuilding the trans but well worth it. Also replaced the rear springs and ball joints/bushings after getting rid of the camper. No more clunk😊 Its now used for dirtbike hauling and an occasional run to the store. Wheels are the full bowling ball alloys. Everyone who drives it becomes surprisingly addicted
Of all the trucks we’ve ever had (and it’s been a lot) this is the very first dash we’ve ever seen that’s been cracked like that. We are planning on making it a daily driver, but we’ve not had time (and it’s so good) we’ve just not done anything to it. Yes, everyone who drives these old trucks tends to fall in love with them, they bring you back in time. We really appreciate you watching and will do more videos on fixing this one up, but this one just needs brakes and calipers, so not much.
I just bought a White 92 LE, with Black interior, 318 auto trans. The interior was just redone by a interior guy here in town, the paint is bad and the transmission has a leak, I think it's the rear main seal though, but i'm going to take it apart and rebuild it just so I know it's good. I'm just going to clean it up, fix what needs fixing and repaint it. I am going to pull the bumpers off and put roll pans on the front and back and use the bumperettes from a 73 Malibu to create "Bumpers" for it because the front bumper is mangled and the back bumper is one of the great big diamond plate bumpers and I don't like those bumpers.
I'm sure you know the electrical systems in the '81-'93 can be a nitemare, I just spent a month trying to remedy a bad ground, now my '86 150 finally charges a battery 🎉🎉!!
I wanted to order one of these trucks brand new SO bad when I finished with college but by the time I was in a position to afford a new vehicle the ‘94’s had already been released………☹
Very nice! @westphoenixlife I highly recommend FB Marketplace, there are people who are constantly looking for sweet projects, and it sounds like yours is one!

That ain’t no lie! Jason has a pretty good hand at chasing down electrical problems.
Glad you got your problem figured out!! Thanks for commenting!

Dang! @ddellwo these old trucks bring back so many memories for people, it’s one of our favorite things about old cars.
I got a 1992 Dodge ram available in Tucson Arizona.
Dude!! I bet that’s a sweetie!!
I am headed to Kanosh, Utah to pick up my parents Dodge Ram 1992. I would love to get it sold while we are there in September if anyone is interested.
