I miss these kinds of mods, crazy, useful, lag-controlled and could be used in a plethora of versions.....why can’t these sort of mods be updated anymore?
i am sure they still exist.
The modding community is so much smaller and those who are experienced have moved on to living a family life that doesn’t allow the amount of time to develop a mod to be put in rapidly.
@@BakuganBrawler211its not smaller, but instead of having single person modding, we have teams.
For example the All The Mods (ATMteam) which have many people working on it, moderators, developers and more
You can still go online and find old mod packs and even use them with Minecraft forge there’s even versions of the forge that have 8-10 different versions and updates of the game so with that said all of these mods can still be played and used the trick is just finding the links online most are dead links or tied to viruses so just gotta be careful.
I never got to experience these tbh, but it's so nostalgic nonetheless!

Jesus Christ, with the Bacteria Colony, you could program one of them to eat dirt, and another to eat smoothstone.
You could mine out the entire world in a matter of minutes, leaving only the valuable ores behind.
Just imagine all of that lag ..

It is a destructive tool
You can actually program bacteria to eat more then one thing... you can keep stacking blocks on top of it to tell it what it will eat. So you can have one that eats dirt, smooth stone, sand, sandstone... and yeah, it'll quickly eat all the things.

The point between 12:20 and 13:10 is so confusing. To me it felt like they were suddenly in 3 different conversations, but now that I have listened to it twice I can firmly say I understand it.
2021 now and I can firmly say you have some weird gift because that conversation sounds like a 4 year old telling a story to a parent.
Might be a little bit late but I find this clever mod showcase series is really well done and likely boosted the modding community of Minecraft quite a bit. Very good way to knock two birds with one stone, entertainment and a good showcase of community modifications for a great game.

Reece T Bacteria can make beer, cheese, bread, insulin and a lot of other wonderful things. With Sips talent and Sjin hard work I am sure they would be able to engineer some bacteria proficient in the quality of its dirt.

Please do more YogLabs! Re-watching this was such a nostalgia trip, and these have been some of your best videos ever. I know story-based content takes a lot more time, but it has been some of the main channel's best work.

LOL! Actually it's been confirmed that Yoglabs is a prequel to Yoglabs, so if you go back, all the mods will hopefully be used to banish the robot army from israphel. We know of the cloning technology, and the constantly growing sand. Whats next?

The way that Lewis teaches Simon how to use the mods is the same way teachers teach children how to do something. Give a lesson ,give an example and then an assignment.

So this is pretty much broken 'cause you could just go ahead and mine a Diamon Ore block with some Silk Touch or get a Block of Diamond and get yourself an infinite Diamond source by replacing Cobblestone with Diamond sources! xD

It will probably crash your game but still, you can make unlimited diamonds.
Hristo Todorov Yeah, but if you get a bit of replacer bacteria and want to make... lets say a building made out of obsidian, you could get a single obsidian block and a ton of dirt, then make the whole building with dirt and but obsidian on top along with the bacteria.

Simon is really good at hearing a science fact and warping it until its recognizable. Lewis said fish eat other fish, like tuna might eat a smaller fish, and simon was like fish= tuna melts because tuna. therefor i am a tuna fish

This mod is so unbalanced.... 1 replacer bacteria+1 diamond block+Lever+grasslands= diamond block biome and infinite diamonds
that would borderline griefing tbh and if you missus the mod like that then thats the players fault not the mod. also diamonds are not on high demands in modded minecraft

actually, since I decided to try your idea out in creative so I went to the forum page and lo and behold, replacers are presently only available in creative.
Make a red matter explosive. Put a replacer down on grass. Place red matter explosive down on top. Lever goes on the side of the replacer. Pull lever.

The last time I heard the SoI server was badly corrupted it was not even recoverable I don't remember when but who know's when they will return to SoI..but in the mean time we can only wait.

It says on the forums that LEWIS wrote that Nothing happened to the world and that it doesn't have a schedule and they are already making enough content so be patient and it will be ready as soon as possible.

I like how the only open door in yog-labs (without an automated door) is the one to the Bio-logical Development and Testing Centre, the only place that really does need a door if not an airlock.
