I'm back in the air on the maddog back to Dallas again to spend a week there with friends! The whole week was full of having fun all around Dallas and Irving, TX as well as plenty of spotting. Since American took the Super 80 out of the ATL route for the summer, i chose to fly on Delta's and just so happened to fly on the oldest plane in the fleet which also happened to be the oldest MD88 in the world!
33A is considered an exit row seat with extra legroom. $19 fee for choosing this seat.
In my opinion, the best seat on the plane. Virtually unlimited legroom and an amazing view of the engine. Well worth the extra cost.

Fantastic trip report! Only $19 extra fee for booking 33A? I recently booked Dulles to Atlanta and back on two DL MD-88s, the extra fee for sitting in 33A was $50. I’m glad these birds are still in service for the next few months.

Dude, I love N904DL! I flew on it once before and I've been trying to get on it again in my trips hopefully.

That’s why I hate DFW runways, they’re way too long so they always end up idle reversing the damn thing I hate that. Great video though
