  • Hey everyone, welcome back to another episode of The mel0n Review! Today we're going to be wrapping up part two of my review of the Edifier Hecate G3M Pro! Now this was a very unique little mouse that has an incredibly neat feature of having "swappable" clicks you can switch between a silent mode and a gaming mode. Now due to this unique feature despite the G3M Pro being very gamer-focused in its design in my eyes, the G3M Pro fits more into the work/hybrid mouse category due to its unique clicks. However, as it turns out, this adjustable click feature is executed rather interestingly, which makes it very subjective regarding its usefulness. I hope you all enjoy the review of the G3M Pro and I'll catch you all in the next episode of The mel0n Review. Peace ✌

forgot this was an Edifier product, imagine JBL coming out with a mouse😆. Seems like an alright first step into the mouse world.

There are a lot of odd brands branching into the mouse space recently. Not a bad start for sure, hopefully their next mouse is a little more comprehensive.

hey melon! you maybe the wrong guy to ask but i am currently looking for a control pad for cs2. i thought coming from glass the freefall sv would work but my brain just can't wrap itself around hardpad with cloth. i literally play better on glass in cs2(no issues with tracking based games or aimtrainers though). i am currently using either an old venus pro or a pulsar parabrake v2. any ideas?

Check out the RAVEN Mori V2, InfinityMice Control, any X-RayPad pad that's controlled and the ESP Tiger Tang Dao, those are all control pads that have a good amount of speed to them!

I know I am not Melon here. But as a fellow collector. Some other pads to choose from: Saturn Pro or the basic Saturn are good pads too. Freefall Base is a great pad. Also Fnatic Dash 2 Max or Fnatic Focus 3 Max. As a glass pad guy myself, ASUS Moonstone Ace is a sleeper glass pad, it has speed and control.

@@TheRedMarauder living in PH, i don't have access to many of the pads. i decided to go with a local brand here, the gosu gaming gears ananke, which costs about 28$ here and has raging reviews here.

Hi, I'm a gamer who plays mostly single player games on my pc like bethesda games for example. My PC is hooked to my living room TV and I'm looking for a wireless gaming mouse. I'm currently using a wired mouse with extension because I only have a wireless cheap mouse and the latency is so bad it's really noticable. I bought the Logitech G305 and the latency was perfect but the clicking sound was driving me crazy. I'm looking for a mouse that's silent so this mouse seems like it could be good for me but I'm not sure if I would get the same latency as the G305. I'm not really knowledgable on mouse tech so I don't understand everything you're saying in your review. Do you think this mouse could give me similar latency than the G305? Thanks!

Wireless latency won't be an issue here, you're more likely to have more input delay from your TV than the mouse itself in all honesty.

@@mel0nFPS Thanks for your help! Otherwise, is there a better mouse that you would suggest that's doing less clicking noise?

@@mikeCs333 Nothing that comes to mind, you can find mice with quieter switches but they''re commonly found on like office mice. The G3M pro would work fine in your usecase :)
