I'm building the Moebius Mercury Comet stock version as a gasser kit-bash, and the interior and the chassis fit with the body is very good, even modified by the AMT Nova tubbed rear end that I spliced together. The body, frame, and interior fit, gap-wise, is wonderful. Far superior to the overwhelming majority of old, worn out molds of my childhood. I really wish that they would re-tool old molds for today's modeller.
I have a couple of questions, you probably have answered them in your videos, but for the life of me I can't find where. What scalpel size do you use and where do you buy them, if not a local store? I'm anxious to try them on my next foil job. Same question for the applicators you use for your glues. I've been back into the hobby for a year and have been using the Revell glue, with the needle. I really like how your applying your glues! I will be using the medium velocity glue with the applicators on my next build. I recently was able to use your advice on using flannel, where I had been using a micro fiber towel, what a difference! Sorry for the long post, I appreciate your time and your videos, I've been binge watching since I found them the other day.
I do use Alclad through my airbrush when I have stripped the chrome . To use it as a chrome application on chrome trim , In my opinion , too many things can go wrong . End result would be stripping the paint and starting over again ….
Thumbs 👍 greetings from Norway 🇳🇴
Awesome build and yeah I'm use to tight tolerances on full size cars fitting and reaming this is a way of life.... Have a great weekend!!

Slixx decals from a ‘68 Dart set that they offer . I just cut them into strips …..

Thanks for the info! Did you Alclad all the chrome on the car, and which color Alclad do you use?
Yes . I used the chrome ….
what do you think about 3d model parts and do you know any one who does 3d printed model parts thank you Mr. yost
Instead of bare metal foil have you ever tried to alclad the window trim
