  • If you are an architect or a contractor, you must deliver and manage a lot of 2D floorplans. Drafting floorplans with 2D tools may seem fast initially. But it gets more tedious as the design becomes more complex. This video showcases 3D tools in BricsCAD which will help us create floorplans more efficiently.

I would like to thank you for developing this wonderful software. I've been a user since 2021 and only now enjoying the quad....it's like the T9 instead of all the text in mobile phones...congratulations again!

Great content! I 'm using V23 but I can´t find that building (blue house) icon on my screen. How can I set it to appear? I found the Spatial Location Manager by command line, but could´t make the icon appear. Is it related to the BIM project configuration?

Probably this Help article about this variable will be also helpful: help.bricsys.com/document/_guides--BIM_design_assistance--GD_thestorybar/V23/EN_US?id=166936622010

I presume you cannot make updates in the sheet view and have them sync through to the 3D model?

Hi @Ollicle, thanks for your question. It is not possible to change the 2D section result in section view and have it update the 3D Model of a BIM Project. However, if you want to work in a 2D environment on your model and draw walls, doors, and windows in 2D, you can use the Top View Modeling mode in the 3D Model which can be enabled by clicking on a story from the Story Bar.
