@@gregcheetham8052 My mom loved it. But she loved a lot of sounds that came out of Germany ... Klaus Wunderlich in particular (the Hammond Organ megastar). Tony Marshall's original German language version was called ""Schöne Maid" ....

Der singt da überhaupt nicht. Die Lippenbewegungen sind nicht mit dem Gesungenen synchron. Scheint das Lied wohl nie auf englisch gesungen zu haben, denn ich kann da beim besten Willen keinen Tony Marshall hören. Besonders fällt das beim "Jabadabadu, jabadabadu" auf...
