The way I draw Singapore is I make the crescent moon circle one of the eyes to make it look like a monocle because rich and former UK colony.
The eagle turned out well because technically it is the whole context of the shield, although if you had the coin to scratch with a pencil on top it would have been easier. 🙃

When your shading don’t use black instead use warmer or cooler colors to shade like light blue and light red
