After 9 months, Flamewall is finally finished. Thanks to everyone who managed to pull through and get the level done in 2.1!
I'd like to address a couple of things real quick:
For those who don't know, RicoLP has stopped hosting this level. In fact, he dropped out all the way back in February. This allowed the hosts and the creators to focus more on the quality of the level rather than focus on releasing it as soon as humanly possible.
For those of you who have had a bad experience with the level as a result of Rico's hosting, I apologize on behalf of the Flamewall team. I hope that you can view the level differently now that it's been settled.
Additionally, the level is no longer an open verification, as the host has chosen a verifier (which so happens to be ME but I'll get there.)
This level was a journey from start to finish, for a 6:46 level, the level was split into 54 parts, for gameplay and decoration. Combining this with part upgraders and optimizers, Flamewall may be the biggest extreme demon megacollab in the game's history (measured by the number of people who worked on it).
As far as the gameplay goes, playing the layout was something special. I was suprised at how fun it was, to be honest, considering Sinister Silence wasn't anything special. This is leagues above that in quality, but also difficulty.
I currently find this level to be harder than Acheron. I don't know how this compares to Tidal Wave (but it's not rated yet so I can advertise it as a Top 1!) The base gameplay is definitely easier than anything in the Top 10 sans Codependence, but the fact that you have to keep your cool for SEVEN MINUTES will all but certainly make this the biggest nerve test in the game. And that's not saying the gameplay is easy; it's potentially main list gameplay for 7 minutes. The level is definitely harder than it looks.
I'm honored to be verifying this. I think that this has the potential to be the best Top 10 right now with how it plays. I generally don't find any part to be particularly frustrating (hopefully that doesn't change.)
For something that could end up being my final hardest depending on how long this takes me, I'm proud that this will be how I shoot for the stars. I will be streaming this very frequently on my Twitch channel: / onealphahelix

There are a lot of shake triggers but yet it doesnt feel like they abused it, a perfect balance of adding intensity while leaving the gameplay visible, except in one of the later paets but oh well

great song, great intensity. ive been seeing the level’s development pretty much the whole way through, and it’ll definitely be an amazing top 1, if it’s placed there. this is why I love flamewall
given its length, i doubt it’ll ever even be verified, at least, not for a few years

I like that the song is actually a different genre other than EDM and Dubstep. I wish metal music was used more in GD levels.

i was NOT expecting it to be this good. absolute perfect execution of the 1.9 style while making it fit for a modern level. this level captures the intesnity of the song perfectly and every part flows amazingly into the other. phenomenal job to everyone involved and good luck to alpha on verifying!
Though I'm not much of a sucker for 1.9-styled levels, I'm glad they actually went this route, and the style itself also looks beautifully emulated. Considering the length of the song and the level, it would've probably been a nightmare to comprehend the lag if the designs were of 2.1 instead.

Something I love of this level is that scapes from the usual type of top 1 because usualy the tops 1 use allot of wave and this one use it but not allot and the music is easily one of the best songs of GD
In my 8 years of playing Geometry Dash, I can say with complete confidence that this level is the closest to perfection I have ever seen. Incredible.

This has the kind of old megacollab vibe that I love. It's like Zodiac but longer and fire themed, but like, good fire themed. hell yeah
i love how some of the greatest collabs such as ocular miracle and this use camelia songs, they perfectly encapsulate the epicness of these levels. this would be such an epic level to have as a top 1. great job to everyone who worked on it :))

one of my best experiences in a megacollab honestly
it was pretty cool to see this level come together since the first day decoration began, but the attention to quality this level got when narwall and val took over hosting made this level stand out so much more to me honestly

We haven’t had a mega collab top 1 since zodiac, and this is so cool. I love the variety of gameplay and deco, and the song is great. The usage of shake triggers and the theming is absurd. The glow is amazing in most parts and the gameplay is very satisfying to watch. I wish you luck on the verification of this beast!

i never loved hell/flame - styled levels, but this one is just magnificent..
Probably because there's a big difference between the 2, most extreme demons are hell themed while this is only flame themed

Interesting gameplay, incredible effects, good music, atmosphere, difficulty, man i hope this will be verified asap and placed top 1 🔥
This level would make a great first top one of 2.2. I'm still hoping Apocalyptic Trilogy gets to sneak in there at some point, but that, this and Ascension to Heaven would all be great improvements over Acheron or even Tidal Wave.
