Some tips when using stencils:
Clean your stencils right away after using so that they are ready to go for the next use. If you don't clean them off you will have a messier result, instead of clean sharp lines.
Grouping. Repetition is wonderful, you can use the same stencil multiple times in a piece, changing direction or position to mix it up. I personally like odd numbers, so I like to group in 3's or 5's rather than 2 or 4s.
Stacking. If you let the first stencil dry you can do another one on top or partially overlapping the first for a very dimensional effect that turns out beautifully!
Keep your gloves and workspace clean to keep your canvas cleaner. If you do get some smudges with the spackling paste clean them off asap with a baby wipe and a paper towel before it dries.
I hope you guys enjoyed this video, and it gave you some new ideas for working with materials you might already have on hand. I have had a lot of fun playing with the spackling paste and I hope you do too if you give it a try!

Thank you so much Carla 💓
Crushing waves painting you do is gorgeous. Here’s a thought for your elephant painting. Well I should say stenciling what about a rainbow wouldn’t it be stunning on there? Have a great evening or a great day.
Precision stencil work! Very pretty result.
Thank you so much!
Your mandalas are gorgeous
❤❤ it's beautiful..
The Crashing Waves painting dried great. I thought it would pool in the middle just because of the canvas being thin. Thank you so much for sharing.
This is amazing and beautiful 😍
Beautiful ❤
Very cool
Very pretty Mina 💕💕🐣 love the elephants 🐘:)
I love the three d effect❤😊
Thank you so much!
Very pretty. Stencils are beautiful. Maybe some gold leafing in a few places? Love from NB 🇨🇦
Can’t wait to meet up in Dublin with you a HoA ❤💕
For your spackle pce would you cons gluing faux gems in the centre of the shapes? Could create depth.
How do you keep the gnats off your wet paintings? I have had 2 paintings ruined even though the paintings were drying in the house.
Some people use nets meant for picnics.. or you could put a mini bug zapper nearby. It really sucks when bugs love our paintings..I call those 'organic embellishments '
I understand the need for odd numbers in art, but the only odd numbers I like are 3 and 7 because they are God's numbers. Other then those numbers I only like even numbers.
