Applauding Folorunso Alakija on her success!!! I thank her for the tips on giving others encouraging words to reflect on so that they can build on those words as new upcoming entrepreneurs. I see that she keeps God in her life, we all need to adhere to that particular advice.
Wow.. So insightful.. I really share a lot of values with this amazing woman.. I have learnt a lot and got a lot of confirmation and I like how she puts God first in all she does.. Really powerful, no wonder she is where she is today 🙏
I hate to admit I found her just by looking for weddings. I saw the wedding of her son with the Iranian sister and that is exactly how I was introduced to her. I wish she was my mum and I could have such a wedding. My fiancé wants to get married but we can't afford to have such festivities. I wish her son and his wife all the blessings in the world.
It's not about the lavishness of a wedding but the success of the marriage days and years on after the wedding. So if you can't afford the Alakija kind of wedding, have your own super special kind of wedding at your own affordable rate and work hard at the success of the marriage in the days and years to come.
This interview inspire me as I listen I was sending messages to my sisters and friends to invest what God have given them God bless, you mighty women of valor the grace to listen and start today look at stars for tomorrow. My greatest gratitude The Lord said"My Grace inSufficient".
Making a garment using workers that hand bead, one bead at a time is very laborious and timely. Will this be profitable to sell to just familiar/homeland individuals?
Why didn't they spend the $5000000000 on housing for poor, HIV meds and clinics. Rich what about your people. Talk come cheap. That 5 million on wedding, a one day wedding? Then beg other countries for charities?
pachoota That is not a lesson for you. When you listen to the word of wisdom from great people like Mama Alakija, you learn from her wisdom. Don't hold on to the negative because if you do that you might lose out!!
+pachoota My dear your Opinion are too Ratchet and low Esteem thinker, Maybe you should work hard first and see what you can do for your self, than paving Empty ways with Negativity though of yours...
pachoota Stop the stereotype. I am Nigeria from southwest part. The nickname of my mother when she was young back in the days literally means "bright as the day". What does that tell you. I am fair skin as well. So keep that opinion to your self.
How can people wish that money (paper turned money) can buy heaven? She changed her religon at 40! Why? Just for money? Mrs Alakija, it is so negative for money that it cannot buy God. You can work for heaven but it is not easy especially turning into a xtn without research. Think about Luke 16:19-32. Find God and not worship money. Life is a timed loan; not a gift.
You need to grow your mentality my friend changing her religion has nothing to do with money neither did she say she did that cos of money you are the kind of people that bring issues to d world she has d right to be who ever she wants to be. You really need to grow go work hard and make money and stop spotting little words from people's journey in life.
Work hard? Are you sure she did that and hard working add up to billions and billions? I hope you are rich too from working hard or you are just a church rat protecting your catch, Habila?
Mikail Atolagbe it's obvious you are not vast enough.. There was where I said she worked hard I said u should work hard. About being a church rat emmmm I think it's people on d low level that call others church rat so am not gonna say anything to you on that. I Still maintain my stand that you need to grow your thinking and work hard to make some money. And maybe you could ask how and when Agbami FPSO was issued to her. Read more.
Thank you for validating us - women in business. Your constant reference to God who has deposited potential in everyone is commendable ma.

When you had all these dreams but capital was a handicap, how did you overcome conquer all that to excel?
She told and advised you to ask God.
yo why is she reading questions from her candle lol
You are beautiful, fashionable and intelligent!!
The best thing about this interview is that Ma'am Alakija is a Christian!!
Such a passionate, smart, successful, and beautiful woman.
If she was the poorest female, I'd still be trying to get her. She's beautiful!!
Why didn't they spend the $5000000000 on housing for poor, HIV meds and clinics. Rich what about your people. Talk come cheap. That 5 million on wedding, a one day wedding? Then beg other countries for charities?

I don't see evidence of skin bleaching at all.
This seems to be a fad with accusing people with light skin with 'bleaching'.
So ,is that your problem? I pity you. That is not bleaching.
