    I was born in PA from half PA Dutch ancestry. Ironically, since I moved to South Carolina, I've become more aware of and more interested in my PA Dutch heritage.

    I think we were driving through Lancaster County when my wife imagined a culture where no one would use an operating system later than DOS 3.0.

    I'm in Greencastle, PA. I speak standard German, but know some Swabian too so 'PA Dutch' is somewhat comprehensible to me, but with difficulty for sure!
