Stumbled across your channel and have owned and rebuilt several mini engines in my time, ended up with an MG midget 1966. At 75 years old still enthusiastic about a series you make very interesting content so keep your content coming!
Impressive to watch and thank you for sharing your skills. I was going to change mine as the flywheel is off however, someone in the past has welded it on at 4 places. Had the gear inspected and it's okay to go again.
Hi Ac , another great video, my 107t is worn on an early metro donor engine are the mounting diameters the same for 107t - 129t ? As I need to buy a starter motor as well, regards Andy.
Thank you very much ! I couldn't remove the old ring. After watching your video, it took me just 5 minutes ! I still have the new one to install...
Just used this guide to help me remove my old ring gear today. Waiting on my new ring gear to arrive tomorrow
Somtimes a little hotter on the refit temp is beneficial up to 400 degrees Celsius but no higher or you will start to soften the teeth.
