    How long do you think lv 3A helmets last if you take care of em?

    • @RTTGunsGear
      @RTTGunsGear  Před 3 měsíci +1

      5 - 10 years of use, depending on some variables. But if kept sweat free and climate controlled, there's no reason it won't last considerably longer. And for the money, I can't suggest BAC enough.

    Supposedly their new bastion helmet is made in America but they used to sell Chinese made helmets and claimed to be made by protection group Denmark they had the same goofy problem as hhv selling Chinese longfri and Militech helmets from china as American made here is a video on this topic czcams.com/video/9Vnd617Sv-I/video.htmlsi=_1w-yXo3Lgvd2WAy

      My issue is that NO ONE has ever brought verifiable proof against BAC. Yes, HHV finally started admitting that their helmets were made in China and assembled in America after years of lying to people. But yellow Kevlar/Aramid is not evidence to not just defame a company, but to outright call them liars. If BAC say their gen 2 helmets are made in Denmark, it takes more than yellow Kevlar to prove otherwise. And yes, their new Bastion helmets are in fact made in the USA. I'm 100% for holding a company's feet to the fire. I've done it with HHV many times because they have been caught lying to the public many many times. But I also want something more substantial than the color of Kevlar and an assumption.

      @@RTTGunsGear as stated above they did at one point sell Chinese products I didn’t claim they still do I am also not claiming to send any hate towards them just wanted to share some information about the situation of company’s selling Chinese made helmets hhv is however the only company i will dish out on they are scum and deserve all the hate they are still selling to misinformed customers sadly.

      @@RTTGunsGear Ballistic Armor Co. themselves say in their FAQ section that they discontinued their Gen 2 helmet due to concerns about its true country of origin. So yeah, they definitely aren't trying to lie to the customer considering this. Plus they're open about their Gen 1 helmet being made in China.

    Protection Group Denmark makes the best helmet for the price. There's a ton of companies out there selling rebranded Longfri helmets with their logo for almost the same price, but the PGD comes with better pads and a better retention system. Not to mention it'll stop a .50 AE. You probably won't survive that, but the helmet will stop it.

      The BAC gen 2 is made in Denmark. But the gen 3 are made in the US. Have you used the BAC helmets or pads? Just went to the PGD site and their helmets are IIIA (.44 mag) with the same basic retention system.

      @@RTTGunsGear I'm not sure what any of that has to do with what I said. I've never used those pads, but they look identical to what came in my helmet.
