Scouting and Foraging Spring King Boletes and Morels

We decided to go scouting and foraging for Spring King Boletes
(Boletus rex-varis) and Natural Morels on the east side of Stevens Pass WA.
I heard from some fellow mushroom hunters that things were starting to pop, in different areas, so we decided to go check some south-facing slopes in the Cascade Mountains in WA.
It was great to scout and forage for these choice spring mushrooms here. The trip was great. We found several different spring mushrooms, like Gyromitra esculenta, Amanita aprica, Black Morels, Blonde Morels, and the highly prized Spring King boletes. I did manage to capture a lot of footage but also ended up recording too much and my phone died.
The Mrs and I had a great time with the Dog and found some great areas to look at in the future.

Hey Brother , thank you.Yeah that was 2 weeks ago . Went out Friday and found an amazing area around 4000-4200'. Got some video of them huge but mostly past due. Looking to get out tomorrow hitting at least 4500' or higher. Thanks for your support my fren. Good luck to you as well.👊🍄

Dang those morels are nice. Will need to keep my eyes open, I'll be up around 4000ft this coming weekend.

Thanks , yeah they were a nice find. I'm not sure where you are , but I would go higher if you can , find the snow line or higher elevations. I have more video from Friday where we found some really big one's at that elevation, and they were already past due. Will be heading out hopefully tomorrow seeking at least 4500'. Hope that helps.
